"Faux Apple Store" is what I thought each time I passed Dataquest, and a recent visit proved that…read morefeel continues inside. The table layouts are trying (but too fragmented), the gear is predominantly Apple-made or Apple-targeted. The staff is definitely trying for the boutique experience.
The lack of crowds is initially nice, but the smaller selection of gear explains it. This place may feel more ritzy than InterDiscount, but they didn't have the USB WLAN adapter I was chasing for a project.
The Apple Store has the gloss, and InterDiscount ended up having the part I needed --- Dataquest just seems an awkward compromise.
