BUYER BEWARE: Just went through the absolute WORST service with We Clean Carpets in Houston, I will NEVER hire them again, I would not allow them to clean a park bench let alone anything in my home. My white couch and chair were left with black water marks, handprints and stains because of the use of plain water with a "secret solution" that did not work at all. My 3-seater couch and love seat were still not cleaned correctly. Not only do they now have a dingy cast on them but also black watermarks were left after the "solution" dried. And FYI: the service person actually added OXY-10 from my laundry room into the water because he didn't have the right solution to clean white couches. Now the "Service Manager" whom several other reviewers have obviously had to deal with also, is refusing to give me a refund for the services NOT rendered!!! After making numerous complaints to the service manager regarding a FULL refund for services, the only thing he wanted to do was argue with me further and insist on sending out ANOTHER technician to my home to "try and clean the couches again". So basically, I would be required to take additional time off work and wait around for another couple of hours for broken/late appointments on the hope that they MAY try and get my couches clean? THEIR GAURUNTEE IS 100% BULL! When I said NO today and insisted on a full refund, I was told by the service manager that he would not give me a refund and that he would "see me in small claims court". AMAZING!!! I had to reschedule the cleaning TWICE because the dispatcher/cleaner was late during the MIDDLE of my work day, casually calling me and telling me on BOTH occasions that he would be an hour before schedule that he would be an hour to 45 minutes late. Next, the slow service person proceeded to argue with me that I didn't live at the right address because of what the dispatcher told him. Which was the WRONG address. Next, after telling him several times I was on a schedule, he continued to insist that these things take time and proceeded to TAKE HIS DAMN SWEET TIME getting the equipment out of the car and ambling to my apartment. He then asked to use my phone charger for his iPad because he did not have one. So of course, he had to use my iPhone charger "so that things would go faster" as he continued to say. The absolute WORST was when this man told me (NOT ASKED!) that he had to use my restroom. I don't know why this stranger decided that it should be OK to appropriate himself in MY apartment and be able to use my bathroom facilities for his bowel movements, I am a single woman and do NOT need anyone wandering my house, I felt very uncomfortable. When he asked and INSISTED several times that he wanted to use my bathroom and I continued to decline AFTER he informed me that he had not he then made the comment "well, I was just trying to help things speed up", implying that if I did not allow him to use MY bathroom that the work would slow down?? I informed him that he could use the Men's Toilets in the apartment clubhouse. His response was "well, I'm just trying to save you some time". AMAZING!!!! LISTEN UP, WE CLEAN CARPETS: not only are your dispatchers AND workers late, tired and rude, but please let ALL of them know: standing in a women's apartment and informing her that she needs to "let them use the bathroom if they want the work to go faster" is NOT the way to gain repeat customers. Your job is to CLEAN upholstery, my couches are NOT clean! I would rather spend 3 times the amount to get a better service provider, better attitude and MUCH better cleaning in Houston then ever use this company again. Scheduled an appt Wed to have my couch and my area rug to be cleaned today between 3-5pm. The guy called at 1:55pm to say he would be at my house between 3-3:30. At 4:04 I tried to call the number back to check on them, no answer. I left a message. Called back again at 4:30, no answer again. No one ever called back. Pretty pathetic!! I will NEVER use this company again. The first time was ok, but this last time sucked royally. The guy come to my apt (looking greasy in shorts, like he needed a bath-unprofessional) and right out the truck he asked for my cc and said he had to collect pymt. While he had my card (that annoyed me!) he went into up sell on this deep cleaning for an additional $45. I agreed after a while but wasn't happy about it Bottom line he did a poor job, the fastest he could. I had to ASK him to clean under my love seat (I was paying for the area rug too!) and guess what? He didn't even clean the side of my couch and love seat, (evident by the wax splatter from the wax burner that sits on a table t/w the two STILL on the furniture) and I cant see that he did the backs. Top it off he left huge puddles of dirty smelly water on my kitchen and living room floors. Oh and the "deep clean" for $45? There is no lemony fresh or pine scent or what ever they use in MY apt! All I smelled was dirty water. When I called to complain, somehow the service manager had the technician on the phone and he was allowed to yell and raise his voice, talk over me, literally calling me a liar. They shooed him off the phone at that time and told me they would be calling me back. They haven't. I have asked my cc to reverse the $45.00, and will be asking the BBB for the entire amount. We said no- so they came and did a terrible job, all the stains came right back and the carpet made the whole house smell bad for a week. Do not use this company! The company did a horrible job. I agreed to extra cleaning and scotch guard protection for my furniture. Initially, the furniture was wet and we were told not to use it until completely dry. After my furniture dried I took a white cloth and ran it over the furniture and it came back dirty. I called the company, they said they would come out the following Wednesday, but never showed up. I called again, left a message and got a call back from a man who said he was the service manager and would come to my home the next day at 1 o'clock. He never showed up. Repeated calls go unanswered. I never reach a person, just a recorded message to leave my information and they will get back to me. It has been one month. I was charged $474 dollars for cleaning and scotchguarding of 5 chairs and 5 x 7 rug. The rug is now being recleaned by a rug company. The technician was prompt, very friendly, and explained the "extra" services which I opted not to take. I said I wanted the basic "hot water extraction cleaning" at $20 per room as advertised. He connected to the cold water faucet directly from my kitchen sink, no furniture was moved except by me, and I didn't notice any kind of cleaner or detergent being added. I should have said something at the time, but instead I trusted the process. Never again. When the tech left, he informed me that there was water on my kitchen floor -- no doubt water had leaked from the waste container. After he left, my house smelled BAD ! I mopped the kitchen floor twice thinking the spilled waste water might be causing the odor but there was no noticeable difference. Two days later I cleaned the carpet again myself; exactly what I was trying to avoid. The water came out dirty as if it hadn't been cleaned at all, but at least most of the smell is gone. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. I should have read the Yelp reviews before booking! My appointment was at 3pm. I received a call that they would be 30 minutes late. I left work early, and waited. At 3:45pm I called dispatch and they told me they were on their way, it was a lie. I kept calling until finally all I could get was voicemails. At 4:30 pm, someone finally called that they were 30 MINUTES away. That would delay my appointment by 2 HOURS! I had plans and could not wait until 5 pm for a 3pm appointment. The guy I spoke to said that dispatch didn't send them to my house until 4:30pm. The furniture and carpet cleaner showed up not wearing a corona-virus face mask. I asked him to wear one, but he resisted. He resisted putting one on and did not wear one during the entire cleaning. It took 3 days to get ahold of this company after they performed a HORRIBLE service on our home & we were overcharged for the service. When we got ahold of someone finally to get refunded the overcharge, he was incredibly difficult and rude, would not listen to us and only wanted to argue instead of just refunded us the difference we were overcharged. He did not know a single thing about customer service, and was incredibly immature. He went on to tell me I was mean and that he had cancer so he didn't know why I was rude to him?? The guy dropped a big piece of metal machinery down my brand new wooden stairs and gouged them in 4 places!!! He gave me his supervisors number who isn't answering my calls at all. I would not recommend this company to ANYBODY. I was told the carpet cleaning would be roughly $58 including tax for one room, yet I was charged a whopping $160. Price was NEVER confirmed with me, I have relentlessly tried to get in contact with the manager or the company really, and I have not been able to get in contact with anybody, only person I've gotten into contact with is the technician himself and he claims he doesn't have the company's number, which strikes me as extremely odd since he works for the company. If I would have known the true price, I would have never chosen this shady company. I don't have any receipt of the transaction either, no email nothing, only a bank statement. A complete waste of money and time! I scheduled a 9'x11' area rug to be cleaned on Thursday at 1pm. The guy showed up at 10:45am. The 1st guy tracked mud through my home when he brought in the machine, plugged it in and shorted out my laundry room when the machine blew up! Had to wait over 3 hours for them to send another guy with a different machine. The 2nd guy came at 3:15, and took less than 10 minutes to clean the rug. I asked him to clean one corner of the rug again because it was the only part that was actually dirty and he told me he did it 3 times. I told him it still Looks dirty, he said that it was because it was still wet and that as soon as it dries, it will lighten up and he left. The following day the rug still looked quite dirty. I called and spoke to John, the manager and he said he would be over at 3:00pm, by 4:00 no one showed up, so I called him back. He told me he was running later and he could come on Saturday at 1pm. By 2:00pm no one came to clean my rug or tried to contact me. I finally contacted someone and was told they can send someone out on Sunday morning! Seriously? When I told them I was not available on Sunday morning, the service manager just said well, I will just go ahead and refund your money! Today I rented a carpet cleaning machine from my local hardware store and cleaned the rug myself. I was disgusted with the dirty water that came out of the rug! The 1st pic shows the very dirty corner of the rug after it was "cleaned" and the 2nd one is of the middle of the rug. TERRIBLE COMPANY DO NOT GET YOUR CARPETS CLEANED HERE!!!!! If I could leave zero stars I would. Yesterday morning I called we clean carpet to come and clean the carpet in my room and we agreed on the price of $49 that was advertised on the website. This is all I wanted to pay as I was laid off from my job and didnt have enough to cover the cost. They were scheduled to get here at 11:00 and sent an email that they would call me when they were on their way. I never received this call. As I didnt receive the call I went to grab breakfast and when I got back 15 minutes later the technician was already in my room. No one in my family knew that the carpet cleaners were coming only me. This company manipulated and pushed extra services that my dad was unaware of since English is not his first language and we ended up paying $113 instead of $49. The carpet cleaner IS NOTORIOUS For pushing EXTRA SERVICES that the customer doesnt want! My dad was unaware that I was only supposed to pay $49 and didnt want any extra services such as a deep clean and unknowingly paid this price. After explaining the issue to the Cleaner named Ray he proceeded to curse at me, berate and yell at me, and hang up the phone on me. He also rudely told me I wouldnt be getting my money back. The service manager wouldnt let me even get two sentences in before telling me my story didnt matter and hung up the call in an extremely rude manner!! I am shocked and apalled at the treatment I was given at this place. I have never been treated in such an unprofessional and dismissive manner. They love to mention that they record all phone calls but didnt record or listen to the one where their employees were cursing at me and putting me through suffering and distress. I have had to file a complaint with the BBB over their HORRIFIC customer service!! To top it all off the services were terrible and all the stains werent removed. They gave me a delivery date then changed it without notice, when I tried to get information about my carpets they told me that they will delivery my carpets four day later than my original date. This company claims that it takes 14 day to clean two carpets that was not dirty just needed to be refreshed. This was a fantastic experience. The guy who came to my house was friendly, tried to give me as much of a discount as possible, and even made me feel better about the state of my home. I've got an old diabetic cat who..... let's just say the carpets were in dire condition by the time I finally got someone out here to help. He was very very clear with me that while they could spray enzymes to get the smell out there was a large chance that some of the staining would linger. I knew that going into the situation but it was refreshing to have someone give me clear expectations and not try to make me believe everything would be perfect. My house now smells marvelous, most of the stains are gone, and the entire interaction was actually pleasant. Pricing was fair, and I had everything laid out for me numbers wise before the cleaning even started- no chance for surprises or extra fees. We Clean Carpet. I know why they collect the money up front. Because after they finish, everyday dirt and stains (I paid extra for the stains) remain on the carpet. I could never imagine a carpet cleaning this awful. He was good with up-selling, but the actual cleaning was pitiful. He treated the red stains (the reason I called them) with urine remover (there was no urine, we have no pets) and said he never heard of red stain remover. I told him that I have done better with my home shampooer and that I could remove the stains and the visible dirt. It will be a long time before I allow another carpet cleaner into my home; I'll do it myself (and I have 3200 sq ft of mostly carpet). In the past, I used Mighty Kleen and they are/were excellent, but their phone number is disconnected. Mighty Kleen would vacuum the carpet, spray on the cleaning solution, rub in the cleaner with a tool, and shampoo. When Mighty Kleen finished, the carpet was almost dry. When We Clean Carpet left, the carpet was soggy like my house had been flooded. Are these people just learning the carpet cleaning business? They aren't even trying to improve, I see bad reviews from two years ago about the same issues (wish I had read them before the service). Update: After reading the other reviews, I need to add two things. One, the guy was late for my appointment, too. It was scheduled from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. He arrived at 3:00 p.m. The explanation was that he was caught in traffic. Two, regarding damages. In his attempt to show me how clean my carpet would look after his cleaning, he grabbed my pool table and started pulling on it. After he couldn't lift it up, he shoved it over. I don't know the name of the guy that came over 2 hours late after I called and asked where the guy was that was coming. Poor job even though I helped with the hose. He sprayed a sanitizer on before cleaning that just dripped out of the sprayer. One quick pass over the carpet to wet and one quick pass to suck the water up. Lots was missed. Carpet is not clean. My husband was working late so I moved everything off the carpets mostly by myself. All the work was a waist with the sloppy cleaning. They tried to charge more until I showed the website saying it was included. Then charged for something for dog urine when I had none. I had my carpet cleaned in my whole house and a matress. They did an expectional job with both. I was skeptical because of the reviews I had read online. I talked with the manager John about my concerns and he assured me that I would be pleased. Thank you, for making sure the customer is taken care of..The carpet cleaner (Brad) did a great job. Do NOT even think about calling this company. First, claimed the tech would have ppe- did not. Second, the quoted price does not include another 5.25 for "environment"- and the tech poured the waste water out in front of my yard! Third, the small room had 2 year old carpet and had had furniture, so just the center of the space needed cleaning- and even though I removed all the furniture except a twin bed, the tech equipment and hoses were set in the center of the room, moved slightly out of the way at the last and barely gone over. 5 hours later, the center was dry, matted, and felt as if not any cleaner than before they came, while all along the outside which didn't ever have traffic was still wet! Useless. They didn't listen when I called nor the tech when he came. Cheated on add-on price, lied, did not do what I needed. Worthless loss of money and time. read more

The technician who came to our house was very nice and professional. I was assured over the phone that it would be a flat fee of $49.99, however our we were told our averagely dirty carpet had some high traffic areas and we were advised in person that it would be an additional $20 to clean as well as a $20 service to put a protectant on it. We declined the protectant and paid around $80 total because that's how much we had to pay in order to get the carpets cleaned. I don't think any solution was used on the carpet because there were some spots that came right out with a little bit of carpet solution after the fact. I understand that deep stains don't come out but there wasn't any loose dirt removed. Because of that and because we had company staying town for a week we had to spend a few hours going over the carpet again with a spot carpet cleaner and pulled 3 tanks of black water from one area. 3 tanks worth of dirt left behind by a professional service is unacceptable. The only good thing I can say is the technician was friendly and nice. I'd have rather spent an extra $49 and paid for Stanley Steemer.
