I will say that the drink line moved pretty fast, mostly because there was no cash exchanged or cards required. I didn't really care for any of Gritty's beers, but at least they were only $5. What didn't move as fast were the lines for the actual food trucks. Some lines looked to be 20-25 people deep, which was just crazy. We actually based what we ate around who had shorter lines, which worked out alright, but some of the trucks I was looking forward to trying would have required standing in line for a really long time. I understand the event was sold out and there's no guessing what trucks people will want to visit most, but they really should have sold less tickets by the look of it. If you were only in Portland for one day and wanted to try lots of Portland's food trucks, and didn't mind waiting a while to do so, maybe you'd find it worth it. For me, it's better just to track down the trucks you want to try at a brewery and save some cash and time.

There was plenty of room to sprawl out on the lawn or if you were lucky a breezy location at a picnic table. There was a big stage with bands playing great music, a little bit of many genres. The volume was just right. You could hear it all over without yelling to the person next to you. The trucks were circled around the location. My only regret is not having enough room in my belly to try every one of them. (Or money) I picked ones I hadn't tried before. The prices were all decent and worth the portions. I enjoyed the perfect weather and full belly. There was also a free photo booth which was fun. You got to add backgrounds and other fun details. The atmosphere to the whole event was casual and fun. The weather was also perfect. I would definately go again.
