First, this company does not even deserve one star. This company is the only distributor in the Southeast that gets utilized due to its proximity to the Gulf Coast. I ordered a basic plain garage door on 11/14/24; it took this company over 30 days to get a door I ordered through a company out of Texas (OGD: Overhead Garage Door Company). OGD finally picked up the door and installed it. The struts for the door were highly flimsy, and the top strut should have been large enough to cover the top hinges; it was the wrong strut. I ordered an 18-foot door, and Wayne Dalton messed up the order and would not give my installer any molding for the door. Then they finally gave him a molding, but it was only 16 feet long, so there was a gap. The installer had to cut a piece from another molding strip and try to fit it into the frame; it did not look good. The best news is the door only lasted three open and close after installation because their steel cables frayed and broke, almost killing me and the installer. So, I have a cheap door that is still unusable until I get a new strut to prevent the door from bending at the top and until my installer finds sturdier cables that will hold and support door operation. So make sure your garage door company uses something other than Wayne Dalton as their distributor in Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, etc. My installer even told me the staff at Wayne Dalton Pensacola are very rude and hate their jobs, not very customer friendly, and he stated they sell junk. Multiple installers have had problems with this exact location in Pensacola, Florida. The company must look at its leadership, management, and processes and stand by its mission statement, which boasts its humble beginnings. Buyer Beware: I could have had my installer drive me a door quicker from anywhere in the United States than it took this distribution center in Florida to get my basic white door. I wish I had the photos to share, my installer is sending them to his company.
