We withdrew them in December 2024 due to a loss of trust in leadership and concerns about the school's culture. After the longtime principal retired in 2023, leadership declined. The new principal appeared disconnected and dismissed concerns about teachers yelling, stating he saw no evidence and suggesting issues start at home. Our children confirmed he rarely visited classrooms. Some teachers lacked bachelor's degrees, and a midyear teacher dismissal disrupted learning. Most concerning was the classroom environment. Frequent yelling left our youngest deeply upset. After transferring, both children said it was refreshing to be in a school where teachers didn't yell. While the school has strengths, leadership issues and classroom culture led us to leave. We cannot recommend it in its current state.

Ive made such good memories at this school i love my teachers they like to make jokes and interact with their students i especially love my art teacher she is very nice and likes to have fun with the children. Most of the kids there are nice and willing to be friends with you and even the ones that arent willing to be friends with you arent mean to you. What im saying is that the majority of the things about this school are good things and if I ever have children they will absolutley without a doubt be going to Norwayne! :)

The principal doesn't do anything to protect any student that's being bullied or that is having…read moretrouble. He blames the victim! The principal is very disrespectful to parents that do not kiss up to him. The principal has DUI's on his record, most recent is a year and a half ago. Some of the office staff are very rude and confrontational. Only a handful of teachers will communicate with parents. The school board doesn't do anything to help if you have an issue with the staff or school. They just contact the school to let them know you called them. I'm very glad we able to remove our child from here and will never have to deal with any of these people ever again!!! I recommend sending your child out of district before sending your child here.
