Real world price

Our 2005 Mustang wouldn't start, got towed to Way Scarff. Needed a fuel pump, pump control unit and some other things. Pump has been discontinued by Ford, they had to get aftermarket unit from NAPA, cost them $311. WS billed me $541 for that part, a $230 overcharge. The control unit is a Ford part, list price of $191, but can be had from Ford for $98. WS billed me $229 for the control unit, a $131 overcharge. Total bill was $3,927 which includes the total overcharges of $360. I complained to my service advisor with no satisfaction. He offered me a "free" oil change next time, nothing more. Unacceptable. I sent multiple messages to Way Scarff's general manager. No one there has bothered to call or message me back regarding these overcharges. I have been a customer at WS for decades, have always been satisfied-- until now. Overcharging for parts is neither appropriate or appreciated. I will no longer use Way Scarff Ford for any reason. Appears that customer satisfaction is no longer available at WS. It has been supplanted by greed and profit maximization. My getting ripped off by these people happened once, and that's enough. My business is going elsewhere.

Best dealership to do business with, they've been around for 100+ years from the sales department to the service center, this dealership is simply like a well-oiled machine, they'll take care of you and your loved ones, highly recommend!!!!

I wanted to love this place. Nice people. I met the owner, a really nice guy. Bought a 2019 Charger R/T with low miles and it was a good price. So far it's been meh. There is moisture buildup in the sunroof that won't go away. The wind deflector is constantly wet, that's not normal. Went to have it looked at, and they said it was normal and nothing wrong with it. No, it is not normal and there is something wrong with it. I put around 1000 miles on it since I bought it and the tires need to be replaced. When the car wouldn't grip well during heavy rain, I found that out and started to spin out. It also took 2 months to get a refund on the gap I bought from them. I wanted Gap, told them I wanted it through my bank which I also financed the car through, but they sold me a different GAP through a different company. I only found that out when I called my bank. I traded a 2022 Kia for a used car, I should have known better.

Car is on in this photo Totally blacked out screen. They didn't fix anything

I went in to get the coolant pump checked on my fusion, that turned out to be ok. The large screen in my car though was supposedly fixed and reset. That was about a month ago and my screen still goes in/out. It is a major aspect of my car since it controls the radio, gps, back up camera, heat and ac controls. Pretty much everything. I don't know if they actually reset it or not, don't know how honest they were, All car dealerships are snake oil salesmen in some way or another. I have to take it to another dealership to try and get it repaired before the 36k mile limit goes into effect. I think they should of investigated the cause a bit more. When the screen goes out, I can't even charge my phone in the usb plug. Basically makes my car a basic p.o.s even though it'a a 2018 car

I fully understand what purchasing a vehicle "as-is" means, and I accepted those terms. However, I…read moredo not believe "as-is" should extend to items that were misrepresented. Before purchasing my vehicle from Rairdon Auto Sales in Auburn, I specifically asked about recent servicing and an electronic issue I had noticed. I was verbally assured that the vehicle had been serviced, including fluids and filters, and that the electronic concern had been inspected by a manufacturer's dealership and confirmed to be normal. After the purchase, the issue persisted, so I had the vehicle evaluated by an authorized dealership. They confirmed there was, in fact, an electronic issue and noted several maintenance items had not been completed as represented, including low or dirty fluids and an unchanged engine air filter. I chose Rairdon as a large, reputable dealership because I expected a high level of honesty and professionalism. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet those expectations. For future buyers, I would strongly encourage independent verification of any claims prior to purchase rather than relying solely on verbal assurances. Reputation matters, but it ultimately relies on the integrity and follow-through of those representing the business.

Based on that agreement, I placed a deposit, activated insurance, and scheduled pickup. Only after the vehicle arrived, PDI and detail were completed, and delivery was scheduled, I received a call saying there was a "misunderstanding" and that the price was actually $68,000 plus taxes and fees. If a handshake agreement, written notes in a deal packet, and weeks of coordination can be reversed at the finish line, that speaks volumes about how commitments are handled here. Changing terms after a customer has committed time, money, and insurance is not transparent business. I worked primarily with a salesperson named Tristan and a sales manager named Kieran. While the interactions were polite, the outcome did not reflect accountability for what was agreed to. If you shop here, get everything in writing early, including out-the-door pricing, and do not rely on verbal commitments, even those confirmed in person. From my experience, this dealership feels slimy and unethical. Watch out!

We initially couldn't settle on price but Bryan reviewed a few things and called me back within a day to confirm he would accept my price. He was never high pressure or anything other than open and professional with the whole process, even when we agreed to disagree on price. Within 2 weeks discovered a hidden crack in the top of the radiator, that didn't show during our rather lengthy test drive. When I called Bryan back he got right on it and had arrangements with his connections for us to have things fixed--on our dime but at his cost. He wanted us to be happy, and it worked out just fine. Felt this was like buying a car from my uncle or something. I would recommend anyone looking for a reliable, honest used car source stop in and talk to Bryan about what you want, whether they have it or not. They'll get it for you and take care of you.

Let's face it- VW is a whole vibe…read more Basically all VW's are head turners.. causing onlookers neck issues since VW originated - because seeing a split window bus, or a '69 beetle driving down the street causes everyone to take a second look "rubber necking" therefore, keeping local chiropractor offices open and operating. Not to say the newer models aren't "lookers" themselves, however there is just something about a vintage VW that speaks to EVERYONE. And if you're in the market.. this dealer has vintage AND brand new vehicles in their showroom- basically something for everyone! That said, this dealership has been my go to "one stop shop" for purchasing and any necessary repairs. I have purchased my last 3 vehicles from this dealership for numerous reasons and a few particular people.. Reasons: - Low pressure from salespeople who truly just want to (of course make the sale but) help you find your perfect vehicle - Willingness to work with you to ensure you drive away satisfied with your purchase.. -Snacks -Yes.. I said it.. snacks. :) -The facility is top notch. The waiting area is inviting and comfortable and if you want to take a nap?? No one will bother you. If you need to do remote work?? Done. Just bring your laptop.. In fact they will even feed you cookies and get you all hopped up on caffeine while you multitask doing remote work while your oil is getting changed 50 feet away! It's literally THEE BEST place. Noteworthy mentions that I would like to nominate for future employees of the month.. if not that then maybe a page on a "top employee calendar"- because these superstars deserve it! -Bradley (front desk service associate) -10 star rating- Brad had impeccable communication skills and did his best to work with me on my last maintenance check. He found me the best deal and I really appreciate all of his hard work. -Becca (parts department) -10 star rating- Becca is by far my favorite "parts princess".. in fact she needs a trophy or a medal for her robust knowledge of everything VW and her superior customer service skills. VW is doesn't realize the blessing bestowed upon them the day they offered Becca employment and I always look forward to chatting with her as she loves what she does and is exceptionally compassionate toward her customers. Last but certainly not least... drum roll please.... -ZEB FOSTER- (1,0000,0000,0000 star rating) (Parts/Service Assistant Manager) -This man. This man is the King of VW. He shouldn't have a name tag- he should wear a crown. -It's hard to even articulate how much he has helped me over the years with all of my vehicle concerns and any repairs I might need. Zeb ALWAYS goes above and beyond to ensure his customers are taken care of and he is probably the best communicator I have ever met. And that is saying a lot considering I have been working in business administration for 25+ years. -Zeb is the most efficient, hard working, problem solving, analytically advanced Volkswagen guru that has ever walked the face of the earth. He is always willing to help with any problem I encounter and has such a positive outlook and personality making him an absolute joy to communicate with. If you ever need anything- Zeb Foster is your guy. 100% my favorite associate at this facility. The facility itself is amazing yes- but the reason I (personally) keep coming back to buy cars from this dealership are the people. The reason I took 30 minutes to write this review is because of the PEOPLE.. and maybe some of the snacks.. but 100% the PEOPLE. I just love this team so much that I made gifts for them and will absolutely use my review for a shameless plug for my VW artwork.. :) All that being said: Please give these 3 folks the recognition they deserve, a pay raise.. and any promotions available. Volkswagen is lucky to have them on their team.

Less than 24 hours later, my car was throwing a low oil pressure warning and leaking oil everywhere because the job was not completed properly. That's not just sloppy, that's outright negligence that could have destroyed my engine. From there, it only got worse. I had to repeatedly call just to get help, was passed around between staff, and received little to no communication. Promised callbacks never happened, and no one took accountability. Even more concerning, Service Manager Ian Andreassen and General Manager Gary Robinson both ignored my emails and voicemails and, to this day, have not responded. Completely unacceptable from leadership. I was also told my vehicle would be towed the same day due to safety concerns, only to find out later it was left overnight because of their internal mistakes. No follow-up, no confirmation, no regard for my concerns. I still have no explanation for the overcharge and no reassurance about potential engine damage caused by their error. This service department is disorganized, unresponsive, and careless. They turned a basic service into a serious issue and then failed to take any responsibility. Take your vehicle somewhere else unless you want to deal with the same level of incompetence!! Worst dealership service experience I've ever had. Avoid Bud Clary Volkswagen at all costs.

Go here for your next car, you won't regret it…read more My experience at Prestige Auto Market was not what I expected when I first got to the dealership (In a very good way). We (my wife and I) were greeted by a salesperson named Denis. He was friendly, laid back and asked me which vehicle I was there to see and I told him the Blue Range Rover Sport Supercharged over there. We have been thinking about one but never actually seen one in person or test drive one. He got the key quickly and handed it over so we could check out the rig. We are coming from a 400whp STI and I needed to let go of my toy for a better more comfortable family car, we still have the Jeeps though. They had a sweet fully built newer STI there while I was there too. Anyhoo, the Rover was very clean inside and out, it wasnt just a detail job, the quality was actually very well kept for its age and mechanically you could tell that it was in great working order. I fired it up and it sounded just like it should, looked over the vehicle as I was letting it warm up, under the hood checked all the belts, fluids, checked for leaks or weird noises and played with the air suspension. Denis was able to answer all the questions I had about it and then I handed over license and insurance card and went for a drive. We weren't sure what to expect as this was our first time in one but I've been a car guy my whole life and a mechanic so I listened for all the little noises, bumps, vibrations to signal if there was anything wrong. We got back very satisfied with the Rover and knew this was the type of vehicle we wanted to get. Denis came back out to meet us once we got back and see what we thought. We told him we liked it but were just starting to look at them. We looked at a lot and honestly weren't really planning on going back because we had some others in mind, but the service we got from Denis and the way the condition of all the other cars on their lot you can tell they care about the condition both mechanical and cosmetic on their cars and we went back later on and looked again while talking with Denis. 3rd time when we showed up Denis was with a customer and I spoke with Vadim. I had a question about a strange looking plug that I had never seen before and he not only knew what it was but it impressed me he knew and it ended up being a weird charging port for an old Nokia lol. He was able to answer any other questions I had too and had same atmosphere as Denis, no pressure and very friendly. The manager Tony is a solid guy, also very friendly and laid back, he worked with me on the deal and at first we were looking to trade my other vehicle but he was upfront and honest and said they just couldn't swing the deal and was really kind and honest about it. Didn't talk bad about my trade or anything or scoff at me like has been done to me at other dealerships. That told me we were in the right place, absolutely solid character and good people. We ended up selling our car private party and came in, worked out a deal and they went above and beyond making sure that all of my concerns were addressed and taken care of before we moved forward. It didn't feel like a dealership but more like a chill hangout spot with good friends. I've been to a lot of dealers all over and I have never been in an environment like that with a dealership, or anywhere that I've ever purchased anything honestly. It wasnt fake friendly, they were genuine, and sincere in how they treated me. When we were filling out paperwork I had my 1 year old son with me and they didn't get upset by him being silly and running around, the guys were helpful in keeping an eye on him while I was filling out paperwork. There is a very sweet lady who works there as well named Lana who helped keep an eye on him too and she gave us a bag of cookies they have there I think it was double fudge Grannies cookies I wanna say, and I was able to give him a little snack and helped keep him occupied. We talked a little about our kids and it was just the icing on the cake that made it a purely enjoyable experience. Never in a million years would I have imagined those words would ever come out of my mouth. I've always left dealerships pissed off and a sour taste in my mouth because they dont care about you, once they have the salt they just disregard you and you get put on the back burner. Not at Prestige, I also appreciated that we went through the paperwork fast. It didn't take hours like most places. We had all paperwork done within 20 minutes and I was down at my rig installing carseat and loading up the boyo. We are now the proud new owners of the Range Rover, we got it for a price that I can't argue with and we want to thank the guys and gal at Prestige Auto Market for exceeding our expectations and then some. Tony, Denis, Vadim, and Lana keep up the good work. If anyone is looking for a vehicle, check these guys out first.
