We decided on Elsinore based off the reviews for the lake as well as the ability to reserve our jet skis online. Reserving was easy, 5 minutes, got our email confirmation and we were set. Garrett and Albert met us at the entrance/clubhouse and they showed us where to go from there. Met them at the loading dock area, shared some local stories, showed us the dos and do nots and we were off. Jet skis were a blast, no issues, we touched 55 mph a few times. This was my first time driving a jet ski and had no trouble getting the hang of it. SO much fun. The lake was empty before noon on a Monday but got a bit busier and choppier around 1. The views were great, some wildlife, and we will definitely return and would recommend. Five stars!

I've worked in IT help desks for years so I know some people are just not good with a computer. That's fine. Just read the instructions carefully and you'll get thru. Or just get help from a teenager. :-) To get to this location they give you very good directions. If you follow them you'll have no issues. It's actually very easy! But GPS is not great for the less traveled roads in the mountains going to a place that doesn't really have a street address. We will be going back soon! Hopefully for 2 hours next time!

The first red flag was that the company did not provide a phone number, making it difficult to get help or clarification when we needed it. We followed their directions exactly and arrived 30 minutes early. We parked in the designated lot as instructed by the person at the gate, but our guide never came to meet us. We eventually had to drive into the park ourselves and locate the guide, who was parked on the side of the road. There was no clear signage identifying the company or where customers were supposed to check in. Once we finally found the guide, the intake process took approximately 40 minutes. After all of that, we paid approximately $700 for a ride that lasted only about 20 minutes. We were also promised pictures from the experience, but no pictures were ever provided. Lucky I took my own before riding. What made the experience even worse was the customer service afterward. Rather than taking responsibility for the poor communication, unclear instructions, lack of signage, and failure to provide what was promised, the company provided little to no accountability. For the amount of money we spent, this was absolutely not the experience we expected. Poor communication, poor organization, inadequate customer service, and failure to deliver what was promised. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this company and would strongly encourage others to consider other ATV companies before booking.

They were able to explain step by step how to load and work each of the atv's. They provided us with the trailer to go with it no charge. They also had helmets and goggles if we needed. Let us try on the helmets that best fits us. The Atv's worked great but unfortunately we did end up damaging one of the atv's. We let them know right away the situation and they were very understanding and were just concerned that no one was hurt. They were very helpful. Had such a great experience with them. Would definitely recommend trying them out.

It's $50 per session if you pay cash, $55 if you pay with credit card. They also accept apple pay. Military/Law enforcement discount given (half off) for the rider. A helmet, plastic cap, googles and water bottle included per ride. Little ones to the young at heart can enjoy the ride on a clean and open area. You can bring your phone out for great photo ops at your own risk. I suggest leaving other important items secure in your car. Joe and Elon were so helpful and friendly during the entire time. This is a great outdoor experience for all!

I experienced great customer service while conducting the business of renting it. It's a small, friendly type atmosphere. They do the right thing and they're there to support you at every turn. It's a one-of-a-kind business; there aren't many of these businesses out there that do this and are so friendly along the way. Took the family to Vail Lake last weekend. I rented a trailer from Star RV. This is the 3rd time…read moreI've rented from them before hitting the road to Vail Lake. The trailer was set up and in perfect working condition before we arrived. Sandy, who I spoke to on the phone to reserve the trailer actually came out while we were unloading and asked how everything was working and if we had any questions on how things worked. Super duper impressed by that! This is my 3rd go around with Star RV and I have never had an issue. The camper was in working condition and clean. The campers do not come with bedding, appliances, pots, pans and glassware. You must bring your own. There are a few RV rentals that accommodate Vail Lake. Star RV was by far the cheapest. The best thing about renting an RV is leaving it all behind when check out time comes. Just load the car and take off and Star RV will handle the rest. I'll be in touch Sandy!
