We had to remove waste three times, yet they still charged us an additional £135, which is completely unfair and unjustified. In my opinion, AMA Skip Hire is very dishonest in how they handle their pricing and charges. I also don't trust many of the positive Trustpilot reviews, as Trustpilot seems reluctant to publish genuine critical feedback. When I tried to post my honest experience, they refused to publish it -- which makes me question the reliability and transparency of their review system. I strongly advise anyone considering AMA Skip Hire to be very cautious and check all costs in writing before agreeing to anything.

We were a regular AMA customer until recently. AMA claimed that their depot said there was…read more'asbestos' in the skip we returned, we didn't have any asbestos in our skip nor could anyone have sneaked the big bags of asbestos they supposedly found into our skip while we had it on our land. They charged us £630 ontop of our skip hire for 'asbestos' that wasn't there. When we requested certification to prove that whatever they supposedly found in our skip was asbestos, they said they would charge us ADDITIONAL money for certification and that they would undertake that now, over a month later (unlikely they would still have the supposedly found 'dangerous asbestos' on site to test over a month later). Bad customer service and risk of being landed with un-provable additional charges for imaginary asbestos.
