The "inn" is their home and you rent rooms in their home. That may be fine for some people but not…read moreothers, including myself. The caretakers live in the basement of the property. They will ask you all kinds of questions during your "stay". I specifically told them, because they are always around in their kitchen and living room, I was leaving my dog in my room while I went on a hike. They said they wanted to get him out and that it was OK for him to run around. Well, he is a small, delicate and rambunctious chihuahua that can easily, accidentally get hurt and I told them I wanted him left in my room. When I came back from my hike I discovered the owners had gone into my room as the door between the bathroom and room was left open (I had left with it closed) and the rugs were shifted. And my dog was not in the quarantined space I had created for him to be in while I was out of the room. How do I know what happened to him? The owners treat this inn as their home because that's what it is and apparently they will do whatever they want. At real hotels you can hang a Do Not Disturb sign on the door and not worry. If this place had signs to hang they would say We Will Enter Your Room Without Permission Even When You Ask Us Not To Because This Is Our Personal Home. According to New Hampshire law they should be making it clear that they live there prior to making a reservation so this needs to be reported. In response to Sheila- your comments to your negative reviews give insight into your character. If you truly do care about customer satisfaction you would make it clear on your website that you are renting out rooms in a home. That would ensure the comfort of all of your guests.

The bed and breakfast has everything you could ask for. I came in with low blood sugar and they jumped to get me some juice and help me out. The breakfasts were delicious and Sheila even prepared a special Indian dish that had a low glycemic index because she knew we like ethnic food and that I am a diabetic. If you want a cold corporate experience this is not for you, if you want to become a part of a family I encourage you to stay at the Coppertoppe Inn.

This is not spelled out by Resort Pass. The pass gives you access to the resort's pools, very small man- made lake, fitness facilities, racquet club, locker rooms with free lockers, bathrooms, and changing rooms. I searched but did not find any shower facilities in the changing rooms/ locker room area. The outdoor pool is large and clean. There are ample tables with umbrellas. None of the lounge chairs have umbrellas near them. Umbrellas for loungers would be ideal! There are ample, clean, soft towels available. There is a bar in the bottom of the Boathouse event facility. They have mixed drinks, various non- alcoholic lemonades, beer, wine, and hard cider. You can order food for delivery to the pool area from Butch's deli via touch screen right at the bar. Eventually the pool area became quite busy and loud. We ordered food from Butch's. It was very generously portioned, quickly delivered, and delicious. Sandwiches were $15/ea and came without sides but were very large per each of our party's members. Staff were very friendly and kind. As the pool became busier, and louder it was less relaxing. We didn't try the fitness center nor the fee for use water amenities on mini lake Harold. We did not golf nor utilize any racquet sports. Both are also fee for use. We did not try the hot tub as it was very warm out already. Other than wishing for shower facilities and umbrellas for the lounge chairs this was a very lively experience with three generations of our family.

This place has nostalgic written all over it…read more The condos (or apartments, however you want to view them), are all red and white and have a "Swiss" look about them. Apparently, when you live there (which some people do) you are required to keep 4 window boxes on your deck (which everbody has) filled with red and white mums. This, I thought at first, was a bit over the edge. Then I realized, it really makes the place look like a nice community. Very quiet and nostalgic both inside and out. I came during the summer (obviously), and the fact they had a golf course on site was a great plus. About $20 each to play their small nine holes. You're not going to get to pull out the "Big Bertha" on this one, but it's very nice for your (if you have them) hybrid irons or low irons. I used the pitching wedge a lot on this course, some lofts (beware of the sand traps as well). If you play through the whole course, on the 7th hole you can literally drive (if you want) with the 1 Wood all the way to the 9th, it's a straight shot. If you're not down for that it's about a 70 yard hole to the 7th green. Very roomy inside, very quiet and pleasant on the outside. People were nice, it was like being in the cape. Everyone said hi to you as you walked by and the elderly (or not so elderly) walking by the course offered a few tips on my swing as we were playing through! ha! 10/10
