    Super greasy onion rings.

Spent $20 on a burger and onion rings, and the onion rings were so greasy they were soggy and the grease was all over the plate. Took over an hour to get food and then an additional 30 minutes after eating to get checks. . No cocktails were available and drinks were rarely refilled. Waitress seemed uninterested in table. The atmosphere is nice. Restaurant was at least clean

My mom and I went to the Waterside Restaurant for the Lunch Buffet. I did not know what to expect but thought the atmosphere was lovely as it overlooked the river. Unfortunately, the food was not as pleasant as the view. My first comment about the buffet was that it had limited options. There were two meats and two sides for the hot food, a salad bar, pizza, and maybe two cold dishes. For me, the variety was not that great and it would be hard for a person who is vegan or vegetarian since there are limited options. I tried nearly everything and the only "good dishes" were the potatoes and seafood pasta. The dessert was also deceiving because it looked good but did not taste good. As a person who loves dessert, I could not even force myself to finish. Needless to say, if you want a great atmosphere with poor taste in food this is the restaurant for you.

Not a bad restaurant. Clean, beautiful. The day that I went, there was not a buffet. Instead, they provided a menu. Appetizers are smaller portions made to look big but are very tasty. I highly recommend the spinach and artichoke cheese dip, VERY YUMMY. Servers are very nice and helpful. I am vegetarian so I ordered Mac and cheese and fries and was very disappointed. The Mac and cheese was the cheap kraft brand and although the fries were crispy and cooked well, they were not seasoned at all. If you have money to spend, their pizza, steak and other meat dishes looked pretty tasty so I recommend giving this place a try!

I was there for dinner buffet. The food was ok. The chef was rude but our waitress was fantastic. I would have given this restaurant a 2 star but because of the waitress I give it a 3. It is also a bit tricky to get there. I paid $26 per adult.

Pretty great experience here for the Herff Jones Ybk Expo 2015. Lots of food at the buffet, loved the make-your-own omelet bar for breakfast. Dinner time could have had more flavorful options but much better than anticipated conference food. Desserts have a good variety as well. Excellent service.

Not bad. It's hotel food, so nothing that will blow you way, but pretty solid. The chef apparently loves pepper.

Fresh grown gardens surround the eatery where you can witness where your veggies are coming from :) Absolutely organic and the flavor says it all. I entered and the cozy old school music playing faintly in the background made me feel at home in "Ma Mas" kitchen and the place was OCD clean. Staff of older experts warmly greeted me which one turned out to be "Chef K" herself from the food network #Surprised me :) We went over the well prepared Menu as the place filled instantly as I sat down. I was finally a happy camper in "Stone Mountain Village" food scene I had the fried green tomatoes and Salmon Crockets Made from scratch (OMG) NO canned salmon either culinary prepared from whole salmon Those flavors fermented in my mouth and I was a happy camper ate good Great to be totally be pleased with spending your money for great food prepared with LOVE! There were 8 of us; 4 adults, 4 children (it's a small place and we wouldn't fit well inside, knowing this I asked to be outside.) About 6 minutes later the waitress came out and said they were closing the kitchen and we would have to find somewhere else to go. I'm a little confused about their hours of operation and when they serve food or not. Looks like a really quaint, lovely place, we are from out of town and would have loved to try it. Today, after reading some Google Reviews it is apparent that other customers have complained about this restaurant's treatment of families with children in the past. This makes me sad. Our children are well behaved and dine out often. Anyway, because we were turned away we took our 8 top to Cherokee Rose and dropped $400 plus tip. That money would have gone to Sweet Potato Cafe.

I stopped into Big Rock Cafe to see what kind of goodies they had. Pretty generic menu. Burgers, chicken sammys, fries and shakes. I see that they had a smash burger combo meal. It sounded pretty legit so I went ahead and ordered it. It does come with fries but not a drink. There was an order ahead of mine. It took forever for their order to be prepared and even longer for mine. I'm assuming that they prepare orders individually which can cause such a long wait time for your customers. I can't imagine if we came on a super busy day with a ton of tourists and they work on orders individually. The wait time would be insane. My burger and fries came out hot. I appreciate the amount of fries they serve you. Biting into my burger, you can taste the grilled onions, pickles and special sauce. The sauce had a heat element to it. I didn't really care for it. My patty was really dry and hard. I don't know where the smashed element came into play but as many smashed burgers I have had, today's burger was nothing like the ones I have had before. It reminded me of an overcooked burger patty you get at a bbq. I ate as much as I could which was less than half before I threw in the towel. It was an awful burger. The dining area could use a little tending to. The floors are dirty and sticky. You can feel your shoes sticking to the floor. It's so gross as a consumer to eat in such a dirty area. I can only imagine what the kitchen is like. I should have just held off eating here but I was starving. My husband paid 20 bucks for me to eat a third of my meal. The staff was nice but I would recommend saving your 20 bucks and eating somewhere else.

As we approached the place on this rainy Friday afternoon, I noticed there was a small shared parking lot up front and a sign pointing to the rear for additional parking. I was lucky enough to find a spot on the far end of the lot in front. We took the short walk over, cut through the side covered patio and entered. It was what I expected, feeling like a dark Dive Bar (in a good way). We saw a sign that said "Seat Yourself", so Wifey picked a high top close to the wall of beer taps. As I sat down a smile came across my face because of all the choices they had available. We sat there a few minutes and then our server, Alyssa, arrived with menus. She greeted us warmly and gave us a minute to look over their extensive extensive beer selection. By the time she returned we asked if they did flights. They did not, but she said we could get three samples for the table. Wifey picked two and I ordered one Three Taverns stout called Slay the Psychonut. For food; I ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich with Tater Tots and Wifey ordered the Spinach Chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Alyssa, quickly brought over our samples. My stout, which I realized I had before, was delicious but I decided to order the Parrish Ghost in the Machine. Wifey ordered the Bell's Oberon Eclipse wheat. As we waited for our beers and food I looked around and noticed TVs everywhere, even lined up at the bar. This place would be perfect to watch a football game. When we were cutting through the patio, before we entered, I noticed a Vegas Raiders poster board so I am not sure if this is a Raiders bar. I also noticed a room labeled "Game Room" so I had to check it out. I peeked in and it was smaller than I expected. There were only 2 people in there and the only games I saw were some electronic ones all the way in the back. I was really expecting a pool table or something. Our beers arrived and Alyssa informed me that my glass was the last in the keg, so it was free. I never heard that rule before and she also said she would swap it out for me if I didn't like it. Initially, I said I am gonna keep my free beer but as I kept drinking it, it tasted a little flat and I swapped it out for another beer from Parrish. Soon after, the food came out and looked OK. We started digging in and my sandwich was good but the tots tasted like old frozen tots and were not crunchy at all. Wifely enjoyed her Chicken Spinach sandwich and sweet potato fries. I stole one of the fries and they were not crunchy either. Overall, I enjoyed my 1st visit to Summits. The extensive beer selection and the friendly, attentive service we received from Alyssa were the highlights. Her service bumped my rating up from a 3.5 to a solid 4. We will definitely be back to try some of their other beer offerings.
