Wilkinsons, Marks and Spencers are there but shops close down as fast as they go up. No shortage of cafes, mac donalds and coffee shops, with burger stalls scattered around. At the weekend there are a couple of childrens rides. The plus about Marlows is the live music which makes it a very chilled out place to visit, I particuarly like the red indian music that is there at times.

There is a good range of DVDs and CDs available for rent from the library as well as the usual…read morebooks, guide, magzines and talking books. Photocopying facilities are available at 10p per page, and there is a free internet/computer service available for library members. there are three computers downstairs for disabled or parent-friendly use and about 13 more pcs upstairs available for 30 minute or 1hr bookings. Print outs are quite expensive at 15p per page for black and white or 40p per page for colour (this may have changed recently but i believe these prices are up-to-date).

Good central library, typical 60's style building which needs renovating. But there are a lot of…read moreresources within it, the latest books, dvd's etc plus free internet access. A lot of school children use it for homework after school.
