Each and every one of the 17 cast members performs splendidly. Their voices are so rich and resonant. The harmonies are perfect. Not one person was less than perfect! If you haven't read the books, the story is simple and true to the stories, and it will catch you up with who is who. The actors are perfect for each of their roles. I was particularly enamored of Diana, Gilbert, and Anne. They are mesmerizing. Marilla & Mrs. Lynde are also amazing. They have rich, mature voices & are so true to their roles as kindred spirits. The set is simple, with two major, chameleon rotating pieces. When Gilbert swims, you won't get wet, by the way. The center circle serves as a screen for several images. Costumes are beautifully made. I wish that I could have taken pictures during the show, to savor each moment in the future. But I was completely immersed in songs and stories. My memories have my photographs for future reference. If you love Anne Shirley, Gilbert, & friends and family, find a way to travel to Prince Edward Island to see this exquisite show! While Island Hill Farm is a family place for sure, these two grown-ups had an amazing time. First, we held some baby goats that were super cute and roamed around while we were there. We met some bunnies, sheep, alpacas, goats and other friends, and a staffer helped us hold some baby chicks. There was a donkey walk for the kids, and we bought a ton of beautiful soap, which has made great gifts. I am an animal lover, so this place was absolutely heaven for me, I think it would be a real crowd-pleaser for groups...Give yourself an hour or two to really meet all the animals!

Great place to visit for people of any ages…read more Tons of farm animals (goats, alpacas, pigs, bunnies, chickens and other fowl). You can pick-up and hold the baby goats! All of the staff and owner Flory are super friendly. In the summers, taste the fresh goat milk ice cream from their chef on staff or pick up soap made on the farm. We're 27 and 28 and had a great time at this farm. It is not huge, probably dedicate 1 hour to this experience.

It is well worth the price, a bargain to say the least! The food stand is beautifully designed and goes very well with the 50's decor of the whole place. They are always playing retro music before the show starts and they have beautiful decorations around the huge screen. You can see very well no matter where you park. The drive-in is clean and well-kept. Only drawback is that it gets a little buggy at night, but nobody can help that. Just bring blankets and bug spray. A fun and unique experience that the whole family will enjoy. They usually start out with a kids film (like Ice Age or Finding Dory) and then play a more grown-up film afterwards. By that time, your little ones will already be asleep. If you want to sit inside your car instead of in the chairs that they have set up down in front (or bringing your own chairs), you can sit in your car and tune your radio to their custom station, so that you can watch and listen in the comfort of your vehicle (with air conditioning and no bugs). Truly a great place! The owner is so kind. They do raffles on their Facebook page frequently for free tickets. And the owner has even posted his cell phone number on the side of the concession stand incase anyone should find themselves with a flat tire or a dead battery and should need assistance. You just can't find that kind of service and dedication to customer satisfaction anywhere anymore!! We have been here a million times and will be coming back a million times more! We love it!
