Coming back out of it then, the 3rd exit will bring you straight back to the N4. Well, is it worth going here? There is ample car-parking and varying sized trollies outside for all your wares. The customer service has improved over the years, but I do reccommend looking for the horticulturist or a managerial expert if you are searching for advice. They have: Paints; Powertools; Homewares; Gardenwares; Plants, trees, pots, etc.; Pet accessories shop; Birthdays; Wood; Bathroom fittings; Light fittings; and I'm sure there is more, cause they even have sweets at the till. Seasonally, Woodies is quite good for the likes of Christmas accessories, or garden tables and chairs in the summer. I'd reccommend going early in the season if you want choice, and late if you want a bargain.

There are some working there who are knowledgeable, helpful and forthcoming with advice. Similarly, the prices tend to be either great bargains or would raise eye-brows.

Had my first encounter with having to hire a piece of garden equipment from A-Z Hire last week…read more I rang them up for some details, prices etc and got an absolute gentleman on the phone, who took the time to answer my questions. It was just lovely to ring up a business and not get somebody "grunting" down the phone , which sadly is all too common in Dublin these days! Anyhow A-Z Hire is situated just of Walkinstown Ave and the Naas Rd. There is plenty of carparking outside. The guys inside are a joy to deal with, being extremely professional and ya can still have a bit of craic with them. After filling out our form and paying for the equipment, we drove around to the yard to be greeted by 2 young fellows who guided us through how to operate the machine and etc. Two real salt of the earth young lads who know their stuff and liked to have a banter with the customers too. All in all A-Z were great to deal with, very professional. I will give them more business and have no hesitation recommending them!

The shop is very well decorated and is definitely on the more upper market side for a second hand shop. The prices reflect this too- It's very clean and doesn't have a 'second hand shop' feel to the place at all. The quality of the clothes are top notch and lots of designer clothes to choose from without breaking the bank. (My mother was in her element!) The window display is one of the nicest I've ever seen and the staff were very friendly at attentive to my Mom while she was looking for items in her size. The only downfall was the lack of parking on the busy street. All proceeds go to a charity too which is good!

What can I say about classic bathrooms? - Well they are the best! Our bathroom and downstairs…read moretoilet were so dated and because my mother had very severe mobility issues, we needed to get the bathrooms adapted to suit her needs. I contacted them in late October, and although it was their busy time, they fit us in as it was quit important - (my mother could not take a bath or move around freely). I primarily dealt with Siobhan, and the only thing I can say about her is that she is absolutely wonderful. I am presently living in NY (dealing with contractors over there and even in Ireland, can be a nightmare) and I though it was going to be stressful in organizing this remodeling job, but Siobhan and her family (it is a family run business), made everything run so smoothly. The prices were very reasonable, and there are so many unethical contractors out there, it was a Godsend to find Classic Bathrooms - they pulled out the old bathroom, floor, shower, lights, fixtures, etc., and within a few days, a beautiful bathroom and downstairs toilet was in place. We wanted one or two additional things to be done post completion, and they were true to their word and returned to us and also took care of this as represented. My mother can move around a lot more and is no longer a prisoner in her own house. She is very happy, and this in turn has made us very happy - so thank you again all of the work men, who I was told were courteous and professional (I was not present), and a huge thanks to Siobhan and Carmel in the office. Sincerely, David Bredin

When they did these Belgian Chocolates had magically turned into a box of after eights. Will never use them again. They haven't even called me yet to apologise or to explain why they are changing my order. Next time I'll stick to the bigger companies who manage better customer service
