Whenever I see Water Whispers, I can't help but look to see how the water gets to the top of the art installation. Then I remember that there is never any actual water with the piece...the artist has used flowing glass which solidified into the waved pattern, using streaks of color to create the image of a water sculpture.
Artist Truman Lowe loves incorporating nature into his work. This piece from 2005 does so very effectively.
The piece can be found on the western edge of the back plaza behind the Eiteljorg which is accessible from the canal walk.
