My pittie Blu has been coming to Cool Dog Country Club since the beginning of July '23, and she…read moreabsolutely loves it there! The place is clean and bright, and they do a temperament test on all of the dogs, which is super important to me for safety! They have an updated spacious indoor and outdoor area with a pool, that my dog LOVES!!!! Blu always comes home tired and well-socialized, which is exactly what I need. I don't trust many people with my dog, but I am so glad I took a chance with Charlie and Katie. They have always taken the time to answer all of my questions (and trust me I always have questions!). When Blu spent the night, they always provided updates on who Blu was playing with, and how she was getting along throughout her time there. I would absolutely recommend The Cool Dog Country Club! Thanks Charlie and Katie!!!

If you can get past the complex of Charlie at the front desk this place might be okay for you. I…read moredealt with him for 5 minutes at our meet and greet and felt uneasy for hours afterward. I battled with turning around and picking my dogs up immediately. Told myself I was overreacting but after reading other reviews and doing my own research, many others have had the same experience. He has a horrible attitude problem - caught him rolling his eyes to fellow employees at my puppy bc she was crying when we first walked in. His dog barked in my dogs face and he said my puppy came on too strong. Aggressively ordered me to change seats. I tried being relatable to him and made a comment about his dogs (I had the same when I was younger) and he rolled his eyes and acted like it was the dumbest thing he's ever heard and I was wasting his time. He is very condescending and rude- probably should be nowhere near customer service. Something felt very cold and off about him and I have to go with my gut and keep him away from my dogs! We will not be returning. The establishment itself is well kept and clean. My dogs appeared to have had a great time via Instagram - just wish they had a kinder person working the front desk! Hope this helps someone!

Best part was that they were extremely friendly. This is a small practice but everything was affordable and the staff was helpful. Will definitely be making this my regular veterinarian.

It is, however, very unfortunate that Animal Medical Clinic of Goose Creek does not see an issue with charging the customer $26.95 for 3 (THREE) Galliprant pain pills. That's almost $9/pill! When I asked to speak to the office manager the next morning, notes were taken and it was explained that it is always cheaper to buy in bulk - no kidding! I explained that I was very unhappy with their price gouging practices and that at this point I am simply appalled and disgusted. I was told that the office manager would get in touch with me. While I haven't heard from the office manager, I did receive a call to confirm our appointment. When I asked for our appointment to be canceled, declined to reschedule, and thanked the young lady for her help, I heard something that sounded like "ok" and then I was hung up on. Considering their unethical business practices, not only did they lose our vet business for two dogs, they lost our boarding business as well and so much more....

We had the privilege of visiting her in person several times while we waited for our wonderful pup. She welcomed our visits and was always open to our multiple questions. Jerry from the May 10th litter) is so well behaved and well on his way to being potty trained, although, ofcourse, based on his age, that is a work in progress. Calm: We picked him up at thirteen weeks. He rode home with the worst storm I have ever driven through. My older dog was a nervous wreck, but Gus stayed calm the whole ride. Everyone that meets him says he is the calmest puppy they have ever met, playful, fun, but also calm. Potty Training: The first evening was a potty training nightmare, once I had the chance to read Kim's info on potty training (and followed it) everything turned around immediately. Except for that first day, he has only had one or two accidents in a week (and easily attributable to us not paying enough attention - so really our accidents not his ) Sleeping: Gus sleeps in a crate next to my bed. The first two nights he cried jut a little when he went in the crate. I followed Kim's instructions and laid down next to him, keeping him in the crate. Within 3 to 5 minutes he was settled and I was able to get back in bed. After those first two nights, he goes in easily, lays down, squirms around a little to settle himself, and falls asleep. No more crying at all. We are following Kim's instructions and having great success. Seriously, we have NEVER paid more than a couple hundred dollars for a puppy so this was a huge change for us, but we are SO glad we did, well worth it! We could not be happier.
