They INSIST that in I threw a large, bulky of a piece of cardboard into my recycle bin, creating a "contaminated can" and insist on charging me $30 for it, even after I have REPEATEDLY insisted they are incorrect. Driver missed pickup on Tuesday, they stopped at my neighbors house. I submitted a missed pickup ticket on Tuesday, they responded with it will be picked up in 1-2 days. On Friday still not picked up. I was disconnected from live chat twice, on their end. Customer Service was unhelpful. read more

I was being charged every time my neighbor put out extra trash. I've never put out extra trash. The website shows a picture of my neighbor's house across the street and the additional garbage. Calling WM to address the issue was beyond unreasonable. Wait times of over 2 hours, no matter what time of day I called. I would ask for a return call and when finally connected, quickly disconnected. After 6 hours of my wasted time over the course of 2 days, I still didn't get resolve to the issue and was still charged an incidental fee of $5.02 for each additional bag my neighbor put out. WM website is a joke. While on hold or online they advertise there are many account services you can add or sign up for online but it's not possible AT ALL. This company essentially has a monopoly on this service. They are rapacious and uncaring. With no explanation, they simply stopped picking up my parents' extra recycling bins, even though they had been picking them up for the past 15+ years. During inclement weather, they will simply not drive through our neighborhood and expect us to keep our full bins for an additional week with NO DISCOUNT whatsoever. I'm a disabled veteran and over the past several weeks, I have been taking my garbage out for myself as well as helping an elderly neighbor get her garbage and recycling cans to the curb. Though I took the garbage cans out on the scheduled days, WM didn't come until the following day. Not that big of a deal for me, but my elderly neighbor has a LONG driveway to where the trash pickup is, so she had to carry additional garbage down to the street. Considering pickup may have been moved to Friday instead of Thursday, I was going to take the cans out on Thursday instead of Wednesday but the trash came on Thursday and missed picking up our trash/recycling. Today I received a notification that trash wouldn't be picked up until next week but that next week they would pick up "double", which doesn't make sense because double the garbage will not fit in the containers provided.. so I went to live chat and here is that interaction.
