Never responded to three requests for service. I cannot recommend due to lack of responsiveness.

One star is too good but -100 stars is not an option. Have never paid so much for service so bad. They strong arms it's customers into contracts and makes it so difficult to cancel that it is a huge financial burden. The only thing amazing about them is that they are still in business. read more

The incompetence blatantly put on display at WM is genuinely awe-inspiring. At some point I crossed over from being frustrated and entered an overwhelming sense of wonder at just how impressively, pointedly incompetent this company is. Flipping a coin has a significantly higher chance of being in your favor than asking WM to do anything. I have had my service canceled for a month now, they still have not picked up their bins. I have called in, without any exaggeration, well over 10 times for this single issue. Each time, a very nice customer service rep puts in a ticket to have the bins picked up, sometimes for the same day, sometimes for the next day. Each and every time, the bins do not get collected. I told them on my last call to put a note on my account stating that if the bins are not collected, I will be tossing them in a landfill and providing them the address where they can pick them up when they're finally feeling up to the task. WM has been consistently inept at their only job since I've had them. Their only responsibility is to pick up the trash, and it seems the be the one thing that they are not meant to do in this world. I would genuinely rather roll the dice by hiring a stranger on Craigslist to do it and paying for it all in advance. On top of somehow just not being capable of picking up the trash, on the rare times they do, they like to find ways to complain about how you specifically filled or placed your bin. WM, your job is to pick up the trash. Just pick up the trash. I don't want to sit here and waste my time writing reviews about you, I don't even want to know you exist. You could just pick up the trash on the day you say you will and everyone would be better off. This company needs restructuring from the foundations. Their services are not worth any amount of money, I would happily pay to be fully rid of them. Mountain High is a vast improvement, thank god there are options here. read more

This service is the worst. They regularly don't pick up and don't compensate in any way. If you try to call, there is no human and they don't return calls. Based on the other reviews, it seems everyone needs to file to sue them in small claims court in order to avoid being charged endlessly for their own incompetence. read more

Do not go with this company! Your bill will increase substantially. They will also charge you $75.00 plus tax and other fees (Over $100) to remove THEIR trashcans from your property after you cancel their service. They won't refund (whole or partial) any payment for cancelation. Below is their messages printed on their invoice: This invoice constitutes an offer by WM to provide service to you for a specified period. By paying this, you agree to continue service during the specified service period and to the terms of service at www.wm.com/OMR, with no refund (whole or partial) for early cancelation, unless such refund is required by law, regulation, or contract. If carts are overloaded, or if recycling carts include non-recyclable contamination, you will be assessed an Overage charge or a Contamination charge of $5 per cart per incident plus taxes and WM's Energy Surcharge as applicable. If services are canceled after initial acceptance you will be assessed a Cart Removal charge of up to $75 plus taxes and charges including WM's Energy Surcharge, unless the cart removal charge is not allowed by regulation or contract. read more

The company that waste management subcontracts with has major problems. One of the managers with sat on a sexual harassment complaint, when the complaint was taken to the regional manager the lower manager made a female employee's job hell and fired her as retaliation. The manager runs the drivers so hard that they can't use the restroom. Matthew Michaelis supported his yard lead when the lead was harassing a female driver. Matthew Michaelis would find things to right her up on after she took it to the regional manager.She was terminated because she hit a pump guard at 7-11 trying to get to her route after using the restroom so Matthew Michaelis would get on her case. A male felt he had to urinate in the back of the truck because he didn't have time to stop at a restroom. Matthew mccleary never coached her on the accident but claimed he did. read more

The beautiful ladies at the actual Waste Management landfill weigh station are amazing. They are quick, very helpful and super friendly. Every time I go there they have a smile on their faces and are happy! You have to remember that the trash guys and the landfill are completely different when it comes to customer service. If You plan to cancel your service with them do it with lots of time ahead..they will want to hold on to you as much possible to keep you on and bill you for another 30 days. When you ask to close your account they will want to you to spend another 5 or 6 $ on registered or certified letter for an "intent" to close the account..its a tactic they use to make time run and you end up paying another month because they only close accounts on the 1st of the month. Them trash pickers are trash too...go with a local company for your service.. I only got stuck with them because the company I had my service with got bought out by them, other wise I would have never got them. Then I canceled them because I only got my trash picked up 1 x per month. I live in the Greeley CO area..but they are all over and they do not care about their customer other wise they would not make you go thru allot to close an accout..a simple call should do the job. This company deserves zero stars. Their customer service is ridiculous, after get frustrated that nobody was listening and asking to speak to a supervisor, I was told I could only make appointments for that and they would call me back. I don't want my money back from being over charged, I just want them to pick up their cans and not charge me. I'll even drive my cans to them. Either way, do not waste your time with them. I was a customer of northern Colorado disposal (great company) until they were bought out by waste management. Waste Management honored their rates for one year and then raised them which was fine, until my second year with them and they charged me for 4 extra bags a 28.00 extra fee. I never put 4 extra bags out it was a bag and a piece of wood. I called them to cancel my trash service and informed them that I didn't even have a full size waste management trash can I still hade NCD's trash can which is smaller and that I didn't have 4 extra bags out. They were going to waive the fees until I said I still wanted to cancel my service, even though I had a smaller can and didn't put the 4 extra bags out. The kicker is they said I had to pay a 75.00 dollar pick up fee for NCD's can. I asked if I could drop it off and they said no, me paying my bill (which I was legally required to pay, there was no option to not pay the bill) I entered into a contract for the 75.00 dollar fee and that there was fine print on the bill. I believe this fraudulent way of doing a contract it's illegal and I hope an attorney gets ahold of you guys and every single person gets there 75.00 back that you people stole. Plus, it takes 20 minutes to even reach a non-customer service representative and their landfill charges are insane. I know they don't care because they have a 1-star rating for their services and landfill. read more

Terrible company! We were lucky enough to get them after NDC sold out. They automatically put us on paperless billing and had a email address that wasn't ever associated with either of us! Never got any mail from them so when they didn't pick up the trash I called to find out why. They said I didn't pay the bill. I'm at work when they pick up the trash I had no idea for months that WM was even picking it up with my NCD can! I'm canceling Monday morning! read more

Your trash dumpsters have rolled into my parking spot at my house. Call to talk to someone to move it back because I am disabled and get told that I need to get a hold of owner to tell them to change dumpsters so it doesn't happen again. Terrible customer service with your employees that take calls. It's been over 2 hours since I called and still no one. I can't park in my drive way till you come move your dumpster!! I can't believe you are gonna tell someone to ask a business owner to change to a different dumpster. The restaurant is gonna look at me like I am crazy, telling them to change something. Wonder if anything will come of this review.. hopefully someone gets a lesson in customer service! Today I came home in the afternoon and noticed my 2 big green WM cans missing from where they are usually parked in front by the garage. I texted my husband and he took a break from work and called to handle the situation. One can is paid for through the city we live in included in our monthly water bill, the other is an extra can we pay for. They took both. He was told that it was a mistake, that they didn't show anyone coming but that they would get us new cans next Monday. (Today is Tuesday by the way). My husband pleaded to get them sooner but the guy helping him said his hands were tied that they only deliver cans on mondays. So my husband texted me to let me know what came of his phone call and my response was NOPE. That's not going to work for me. So I called and explained that I have a family of 7, one of which is a toddler in diapers, and that there was no way I was going to have 6 days of garbage piling up in my garage. That they will have someone come out TODAY and return our cans or I will happily drive my bags of garbage every night to their office and leave them on their doorstep. That their customer service was absolutely unacceptable. I was placed on a brief hold and when the agent returned he told me I would have my new cans by tonight. He apologized for the cans being picked up. I thanked him for helping me and told him it wasn't so bad having our cans picked up by mistake. That mistakes happen. But why was it when my husband called he was lied to and told we couldn't get new cans for 6 days, but when I call and make a fuss like I did I was helped the way I could have been?! I told the agent I wanted to file a formal complaint against the agent who helped my husband. He should have offered to fix the mistake immediately, and instead made not one person inconvenienced and had to step away from work to call but TWO people! It should have never come to that. I'm not even sure how they have 1 star. This is the WORST company I've ever dealt with. Our previous trash company closed and switched us to waste management. Some how they missed picking up my entire blocks trash so it's been sitting at the corner for an entire week and a half. We called them THREE times!! Each time they said they were sending someone back. No one ever came to pick it up. One driver even put a note in our file saying our garbage cans were not visible. HOW CAN YOU MISS THE THREE HUGE GARBAGE CANS SITTING ON THE CURB!!?? They've been sitting there for days. Pure laziness.... or stupidness. We happily closed our account that we had prepaid service on and are now giving our money to Bunting. :). You suck, waste management. read more

Awful, terrible service- worse communication and follow through - 4 weeks without trash pick up so I canceled my service. I am on day 5 of a 5 day window to pick up their carts, which have to be left out on the street the entire time because they cannot guarantee when they will be by to get them. Not ratable, but they made me choose at least 1 star or I couldn't inform my community to avoid Waste Management. Unbelievably bad service in every way. This is the service recommended by our HOA, but not worth the discount. In five months, they picked up trash on the scheduled day and have NEVER picked up recycling on the scheduled day. Even cancelling service has been a nightmare! It took them a week, five days longer than promised, to pick up their cans. Then, on the evening they finally picked up our cans and one week after cancelling service for the second time, they texted me to let me know my trash service pick up had been delayed until the next day. Batting 1000. Missed the mark on providing any level of service on a schedule they set! Going back to RAM Waste Systems. Wish Northern Colorado Disposal was still available. NCD was a GREAT COMPANY. Never, EVER, thought I'd be reviewing a trash company because it's hard to believe anyone could screw it up, but leave it to Waste Management to do it! We pay for 1 large trash can pick up per week. If we put 2 cans out, they simply send us a bill for it, and we promptly pay it. Been doing it for over 7 yrs now. However, suddenly, if there is more than 1 can out, they simply do not empty it. Last time it happened, customer service strung me along for 3 days, telling me they would have a truck come by. I had to contact my HOA so I wouldn't get in trouble with them. After 3 days of my trash sitting out, I spoke with CS again, asked for a manager....she said she'd ck into it. Called me back 20 min later to say, sorry but the truck is only in your town on Mondays, so they can't pick it up. Now it happened again today. I'm out of town, so my neighbor just informed me that only 1 can got emptied. Went to website which states CS open until 6:00, called the #, and the recording says they close at 5:30. Tried to leave a voice message, but the mail box was FULL, so I wasn't able to. The company sucks. Poor service, dreadful customer service! I know they don't have a lot of competition, but I will be looking into another company to take my trash.. read more

I paid for recycling service two months ago and they still have not picked up my recycling. Every time I call, they tell me that they will send someone out the next day... They never show up. The last time I called, the representative, Cory, told me that they are the only people who service my area so it does not matter. Keep your money. read more

DO NOT USE WASTE MANAGEMENT!!!!! I have a dumpster at my property that is supposed to be picked up 1st and 3rd week of each month. They drove PAST my house last month and did not pick up. I now have an overflowing dumpster and trash piling up in my garage!! I live in a rural area and have wild animals everywhere. I can't let the trash fall out of the overstuffed dumpster or the animals will make a real mess! I called a week later to get it picked up and was told they would be there within 48 hrs. NOTHING. Called the following week to CANCEL. Was told I am under contract and would be charged in a HUGE penalty. Still getting the run around from the "CONTRACTS" department. So THEY can BREACH the contract by not picking up my trash as I PAY for, but I am not allowed out of the contract. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COMPANY! The people in "contracts" are rude and mean.
