This was my first time ever at a laundromat. It was ok, but not great.
I was expecting to get all my laundry done in one load, but regular washers were so small that I had to do two loads. In hindsight I should have chosen one of their large machines and saved some money and time (I had to wait for my laundry to finish to do a second load. The other machines finished at about the same time).
Then I loaded a dryer with all of my wet clothes and ran it. Basically, you pay 0.70 euro for ten minutes. I ran it three times and my stuff still wasn't dry, so I just took it home that way, since I thought the whole thing was a bit expensive. The annoying part is that you can't (as far as I know) set the dryer to run 40 minutes or a specific number of minutes. Every ten minutes you have to go and pay another 70 cents to run it again.
Anyhow, basically it cost about 10 euros for 2 small loads to be washed and somewhat dried.
The salon has a seating area, which is nice, but no WiFi. A German review says it has WiFi, but it doesn't. There are two vending machines where you can get pop or caffeinated drinks. I didn't bother. There is also a cafe next door. Don't be surprised if smoke comes in from someone sitting outside smoking.
The laundromat does not have anything outside indicating what it is or its name, so you will need to look inside to see that.
As for the clothes, they were clean. Unless you use your own detergent though, they won't smell like anything, but they look and feel clean. read more
