Spider roll, Tempura shrimp roll

This restaurant has the best sushi in the entire area. All of the seafood tastes consistently fresh, and every roll that I've tried (about 10-11) has been delicious. I order takeout from this restaurant all the time too! If you're in the area looking for some good sushi, Wasabi is your place. (Picture is of my most recent order!)

Such a great find tonight in downtown Fayetteville. Cool vibe to the area and this sushi joint did not disappoint. What a gorgeous and decadent tower of spicy tuna and crab on a bed of rice, piled high with a spring mix and an assortment of tobiko and avocado. This Ahi tower was drizzled with a spicy mayo and honey wasabi that added a great brightness of color and a nice punch of heat that hits the back of the palette.

Such a good vibe to this place. This is the best restraint on Dickson St. Exceptional service and cooking. This is a place you want to come back to.

great food good taste and came out timely. Was presented beautifully, is pricey for a college student budget but worth it.

The host seems very laid back which is great, but not when you're hungry. The food was okay, but the service was awful. As a server myself I was unimpressed to say the least. We ordered, we saw the sushi chef had made our food and we stared at it for 10 minutes. The restaurant was slow and our server was slower. We had to get another server to get our server to get the food we had been staring at.

Wasabi is THE sushi place in Fayetteville! I've been coming here since 2011 and it hasn't disappointed me yet! Their menu has changed a little bit, but flavor hasn't! A new addition to the menu is the bulgogi fries! Wow; What a dish! Shelby is the best waitress and is quick to give suggestions; from sake bombs to sushi recs! If you're looking for sushi, you've found your place!

I really have mixed feelings about this place... My baby girl wanted sushi and suggested this place. It is kind of a college kid sushi restaurant/sports bar/could be up scale place but it really is caught in the middle. Baby girl had the Sam's roll which comes out on fire which is kinda cool but kind of gimmicky - the fire is not finishing the cooking process or anything like that. The Sam's roll was good but not great. I had the habatchi steak which was really good the veggies were cooked just right. The fried rice was good. the salad was ok. The main part if the restaurant is really nice. The bathrooms are super sketchy. Wait staff was ok not upscale service. The cleaning around the restaurant was not good ( the sides of our table were super sticky) so this is where my mixed feelings come from... The upkeep is like a college bar (just gross) but the place looks nice, lots of tvs like a sports bar but the food is good. It is worth a try just have the proper expectations...

Spicy edamame & Crystal Summer Roll.

Spicy edamame and Crystal Summer Roll. Edamame was INTENSE! You can zoom in and see the craziness. I would order again but ask for 1/2 the spice. Crystal Roll was a bartender suggestion and delightful. Nice and light and the greens and fish went together really well. Probably not what I would normally want from dinner sushi but perfect for tonight.

It was good food. A bit pricey but good. The staff was exceptional and made the food better. Not a top 10 but worth the experience.

The best sushi in Fayetteville! While the service is sometimes slow (just like everywhere nowadays), the food is always spot on. Our go to rolls are the Sam's, the Bluepoint and Tempura Shrimp. We also always start with the edamame. When we come for lunch we always catch their awesome Bento box lunch deal! Make sure to check it out.

Good service, good food. We went in late on a Saturday evening. Not much hope in getting anything fast but to our surprise all was good

I had a lot of fun here but they are busy, as is anything on Dickson. We got drinks that were delicious and the food was awesome.

Been a fan of Shogun since the 1990s but I find that there is more variety in the area now at…read moreattractive prices... Still, Shogun is always the go-to place for certain events like birthdays or celebrations because it remains an 'experience.' They have casual tables and bar dining available but honestly... What's the point of that? You go here for the show and spectacle of being entertained by a Benihana-style performer (and many of them are quite good, very talented and indeed very funny!) However, be sure to know that this place can be loud and is quite chaotic. Expect to feel the heat as they blaze vodka not just in front of you but from the tables behind you. This sort of experience isn't going to be for everyone as it can get very loud and make it hard to talk to anyone not directly next to you. Also expect to sit shoulder to shoulder with a member of another dinner party. Also, you might have to wait sometimes until the table fills, or until the chef comes out to begin. Still, I absolutely recommend the experience at least once if you haven't tried it. and if you are an out-of-towner looking for a place to try this is a solid bet, (especially if you're with a crew from work.) The consistency of the food and service and the price are my only qualms with this place. How your food turns out will vary depending on the chef, his style, and his attentiveness to the food. Sometimes the rice is better than others. Sometimes the chicken can have more or less flavor. Sometimes things just taste a bit different than I remember them tasting (Things like this.) It helps to remember to ask for extra sauce near the end (in case of chicken teriyaki, or beef, for example) and don't be afraid or too shy to ask for more ginger or mustard sauce (They used to make it more potent!) Geez they do have good sauces here. Despite the price, it's still good food, and quite a bit of it. I don't think I've ever been hungry enough to eat everything in the hibachi dinner (probably what you'll want to get.) IF you're staying in a hotel or looking for a container of leftovers the next day. Shogun is a solid. I had the basic chirashi platter and overall enjoyed it. It was actually a good value and was a generous portion of sashimi. It contained the core basics such as tuna (maguro) salmon, yellowtail, shrimp, and i believe some kind of whitefish (my least favorite and i wonder if i can make a subsitition and request something else next time.) Maybe it was a coincidence but was also the strongest wasabi I've ever had too! A+ for presentation... it was arranged in a circular pattern in a wooden bowl that had actual bamboo leaves to separate the fish from each other (A first for me, and I actually really appreciated seeing this over the baran grass divider which emulates it!) and was served with a generous amount of sushi rice which was great. I'm torn because I really like the hibachi dinners here (Their scallops are very high end, super buttery delicacy) but this was both an excellent value and a generous amount. For the time being, I think I'll continue to explore the sushi subtypes here more in the future. It could be that the sushi chefs here are the secret stars of shogun if they can continue to deliver both quality, value, and aesthetic with consistency.

It's time for a remodel. Everytime we eat there I end up setting in something sticky, and the last…read moretime we went we turned around and walked out because of the smell. It's to expensive for the quality and ambiance.
