Warzywniak Cafe is a small, cozy, romantic cafe serving a brief menu of Middle Eastern dishes including falafel, hummus, and shakshuka. The falafel salad came with three crispy chickpea fritters and a scoop of hummus along with mixed greens, pickles, beets, and dried cranberries, all tossed in a sweet vinaigrette. The Shakshuka was a hearty tomato stew topped with two poached eggs and served with chopped black olives and a dollop of yogurt sauce. Both of these dishes were presented beautifully with sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, and chopped herbs sprinkled on top, and while the flavors were vibrant and delicious, the prices were definitely high for the portion sizes. read more
