Biggest scam ever - cheat on house pictures, absolutely worst cleaning service as we walked into a…read moredirty place and got bitten the first night. Air conditioners were tapped into the windows, the windows themselves so dirty, that you could not see outside. Tables sticky, chair cushions never washed given how dirty they were. Agency is obviously scamming people House not to rent: costa la vista VRBO reference 61224

We stayed this past week at 610 Jungle Drive, "The Walker" in Edisto because our old vacation…read morerental fell through so we had to scramble to find somewhere. Once we got there we realized this place was outdated, dirty, and smelled. The spray painted address on the piece of wood taped to the house was our first sign. The bottom of the house had a section that was once screened in, and instead of fixing it, they left all the furniture there to rot in the weather and gather dust. The outdoor shower was named "The Dungeon" by our group because it looked like something out of a prison. There were two entrances, the one led straight into a bedroom with two bunk beds, which we ended up locking anyway because people were tracking sand (inevitable) into the bedrooms less than a foot away from where you sleep at night. The window sills in this room had loose change, and other things people randomly left there along with spider webs and nests. Every time I went to sleep in that bed my nose got so stuffy I couldn't sleep, the beds probably were never cleaned. The dresser in this room had one drawer FILLED with junk ranging from bathroom cups to magnets and thumb tacks. Disgusting. We decided after the first 10 minutes we weren't leaving our food there after we saw MULTIPLE COCKROACHES (alive and dead) and old food that had been dropped in the 6inch by 15inch hole next to the oven down into the counter. We had to leave our food in our friends house down the street. The fridge also froze half of our food. The bathroom in the hall had the drain blocked and would fill up with water very quickly to where you were standing in your own filth after 4 minutes of turning on the faucet. Both toilets took forever to flush and you had to stand there and hold down the handle for 25 seconds for it to flush. All the pictures and paintings looked out of place the decoration was terrible and most honestly looked like someone's kids art projects. The pillows they have had big yellow stains on them too. The worst thing is that they wanted US to clean everything before we left. They left a huge list: make the beds, clean the fridge and floors, take out all the trash and clean all the bed sheets. This we didn't mind as much, but the vacuum they had smelled like poop when it was running to the point where we had to cover our noses, it just shoved the dirt around and never actually sucked anything up. We stayed the day we had to check out (check out at 10am) and at 2-3pm there were people there already!! It's like they didn't even go in to clean it because they left the giant list for the previous renters to do! I would not recommend staying here, and if this is any indicator of how they manage properties; I don't know if I would in any of their other properties. I tried to call and they had a dial up tone when I called. Then I contacted someone on the live message which is pictured in this review. Not very helpful at all. Oh! They also had Frebreze CAR VENT CLIPS in the AC vents.

Unbelievably horrible experience renting from Boneworks - DO NOT give these people your money. Day…read more1 I walked into a dangerous roof leak through an electrical light - was a total fire hazard! Thousands of dollars in damage and they will not pay a dime. They also didn't help pay for a hotel, storage, moving costs...they think that giving my security deposit back was above and beyond...They are now withholding rent money that was paid PAST the day they terminated my lease. But wait there's more... the day I discovered the damage, the real estate agent Kyle also did a walk through of the unit with a prospective buyer and somehow missed my soaked mattress, rug and the dead lizard on the floor? Both Hamilton and Kyle have been more than unresponsive - they've just straight ignored me. I have emailed the company and Hamilton multiple times and gotten zero response. This company is negligent, unethical and honestly just straight cruel - do not, I repeat do not trust them.

Never in my 7 years of living in Charleston have I dealt with a property management company as bad…read moreas Boneworks. Extremely unresponsive company and very rude. They could care less about their tenants. Upon moving in, our house was infested with fleas, missing electrical sockets, broken kitchen moldings, dirty bathrooms and windows, a broken door, dirt caked on the walls. We also had a horrible termite infestation for months to the point where they would be crawling on us at night or get into our belongings. Numerous work orders were placed and texts were sent to address these issues. These requests were not even completed a year later. The house still has a termites, flea issues and black mold. Kyle and Vinny are the most unresponsive, unorganized property managers, spending too much time posting listings on Facebook instead of handling their current tenants needs. The ceiling in my bedroom in started to continuously leak and damaged my belongings, they seemed to care less about this issue. I just had a serious surgery and couldn't do anything to stop the leaking. I tried contacting them over a 2 month span to address this issue, but my phone calls, texts, and emails were ignored. Eventually, after months of pleading they finally fixed it, blaming the delay on the landlord. They could care less about their tenants, they only want your money and to have their properties filled. I'm so glad I'm no longer a tenant with them. Avoid at all costs.
