He wouldn't respond to emails or telephone calls. It seemed that every time we did talk, he had no idea what our last correspondence was. He was discourteous and unprofessional. I feel that the guidance that I needed from him was non-existent and that I ended up giving much more up to my ex-wife than I had to. She offered to "go to" his assisted living to have the final documents signed. A courtesy, you might think? When my father's bill arrived, he discovered he was charged over $500 for this visit. How could this be ethical? This was not a kind overture, but a crafty way to eek more money from my father, who was quite upset. M.R. Litman didn't disclose this ahead of time nor did she tell him he needed 2 witnesses. All of this, as well as "how long it took" my father to arrive at the conference room, just added to the bill. Ms. Litman also cited, "unexpected bad traffic." (These quoted excerpts were taken from a defensive email I received from Ms. Litman.) The bottom line is that Ms. M.R.
