It is such a pleasure to know that he and his staff will take care of my financial tax filing responsibilities. Thank you! Candy Plant and I have worked together for a couple years on filing my small business returns, not just routinely for Oregon, but for a handful of other state returns as well. It was confusing at first, I can't thank her enough for understanding my small business operation and time constraints while working long hours on pre-season preparedness and during wildfire season. She is extremely knowledgeable and a very pleasant person to work with. I highly recommend this company for your accounting needs.

When I caught the error and stopped paying, it triggered a large "overdue/penalty" from the state, which I have been fighting for a year. Dealing with the state is a nightmare. I went to have my taxes done, quoted me a price, I asked if that was firm or would there be changes (aka other fees for their serves). So I can budget their fees, reasonable ask. Said nope fees are a flat rate, the quote I give is the quote I charge. Ok, clear enough. Well I forgot some tax info and had to leave and return within 15minutes. Within that time my quoted price doubled!! What!?! For no reason, no tax changes, literally just had to get some papers I forgot. Can we say scam!!! Needless to say I promptly took my info and ran out the door.

I walked in owing a back tax of $9,100.00, from a year that I wasn't involved with the CPA office.. In her own time, off of the schedule, I received several calls and emails detailing every step of the tax year and previous tax debts. By the time it was all over with, not only was my $9,100.00 cleared and no longer owed, the IRS owed me roughly $1,000.00 !!!!!! Lets see HR Block do something like that!! I can't say enough good things. Every year is good but this year was an epic display of professionalism and true hard work.. Yevon is a total rock star. I can only imagine the rest of the office is as efficient and hard working.

Then 3 days later was instructed to complete a very detailed filing questionnaire and instructions that our return would not be filed on time without if. We would have been fine with that if this was explained ahead of time instead of so close to 4/15. The filing review meeting was rushed and average. No tax strategies were explored for that year nor any tangible actions for the next year. Then we were given the bill which was over $2,000. Our 2024 filing was nearly a 3rd of that amount and experiences with our long-term preparer from 2006 - 2023 (who retired) was less a 1/4 for 2023. Both were professional tax advisors, and we had no major changes to our finances. We asked why it was so high and were given no plausible answer other than that is what they charge. I don't believe the Porsche's in their parking lot belong to clients. Lastly, very odd, the door to their office looked like we were entering an amateur workshop. We had concerns their premises were secure.
