My daughter's car died on the onramp to I-25. I called around trying to find a cheap tow on a Saturday, but ultimately found it was going to make my life a lot easier to just go ahead and go with Walt's Towing when Sandy said they could meet me at the car and get me towed to a nearby repair shop within 30 minutes for $95. (I was trying to get it to Midas in time to get the problem taken care of same day.) Sandy was kind and understanding on the phone and my driver was a real pro. Unreliable ... made an appointment one week in advance to transport vehicle on a flatbed. Extended conversation regarding pick up time and location to meet appointment time . The dispatcher Sandy assured they would send their most experienced driver, who knew how to load vintage vehicles on to a flatbed, etc . The day before I called to reconfirm the appointment time and I was told that they didn't have anybody available in the morning and that they wouldn't be able to pick up until noon. Walt's Towing was amazing! They provide unmatched customer service. I got a flat tire on my way into work yesterday morning, but I didn't realize I had a flat until a few hours later when one if my coworkers noticed my flat in the parking garage. Because I park in the City Garage, they could not get a tow truck down to me. Instead, Justin came out and took the old tire off my van for me, took it to Goodyear Tire, picked up my new tire, AND put it on my van for me. The old tire was in such bad shape it wouldn't hold any air at all so it wasn't a possibility for me to put a little air in it and drive it out of the garage so it could be towed to the shop. Maddie, the customer service representative I spoke with on the phone, was so helpful. She understood the guidelines I was working within (I was trying to get the whole situation resolved before my meeting later that afternoon with the CEO) and was so accommodating. Got a flat tire at 10pm in a bad area of CO Springs. Called Walt's frantically and the woman who answered the phone was very calm and helpful. Said the truck could get to to me in 20 minutes but it ended up being less than 20m. Daniel ended up not being able to just change the tire because my tire key was missing. Ended up having him tow the car home for what I would consider (considering the circumstances) a reasonable after-hours price. I never felt so relieved than when we (my 7yo and me) got into his truck and headed home. He was so nice and I appreciate that more than I can ever explain. Thank you so much. I scheduled a pickup 2 days in advance. They were a no-show! I called the dispatcher, asking the eta on the truck because my vehicle needed to be dropped off before the repair shop closed. She had no clue an appointment was set. Ok, that kind of thing happens, but now what? How are we gonna remedy the situation? She would now put me down for service, which was running 2 hours behind at that point, or schedule for the next day. No apology for the inconvenience, no "We'll send someone over immediately," no customer service. I guess they're doing well enough they don't have to care. My wife and I ran into an issue the other night when her car broke down in a parking garage. The garage is only 7' 2" tall so you can't get a tow truck in it, so out of the 12 towing places we called Walt's and one other said they would be able to get it out of the garage. They had to tow our car out of the garage with a normal truck using a tow strap and they put it on a rollback. Then towed it to our house and unloaded it perfectly into our garage. I couldn't have ask for anything more and I had no issue paying their price for the quality of service we received. Thanks Walt's!! read more

These guys were great! We had a last minute emergency where we had to get our company vehicle to a repair shop and we were short on time since the vehicle was not drivable. I called and explained our situation, if they could get to us before the repair shop closed at 6. They were able to get out to us within 45 minutes and get the vehicle to the shop before they closed. The gentleman who arrived was really nice, professional & efficient. If I ever need a tow again, these are the guys I'm going to call. read more

When I called at nearly 10pm on a Sunday night before a holiday to inform them I drove my car off the side of a mountain, and needed recovery, I'd be lying if I said the gentleman on the phone didn't sound a bit apprehensive. Him and I agreed that a recovery the following morning was a wiser choice versus attempting it in the darkness of the night. At 9am I called to coordinate. 10:20am we met at the beginning of the gravel mountain road . The driver followed us 3 miles up the unpaved road to where my car patiently waited, 10ft off the road, at a 45° angle, pinned against a tree. He took a few minutes to investigate and formulate the best method of recovery to eliminate additional damage and avoid having the car tumble further down the mountain. He executed a textbook recovery, bringing the car back onto all 4s on the road. By 11:15 I had paid him for the VERY fairly priced recovery, and was driving back down the mountain. Not ONLY was Walt's the only tow company that answered my call, they also performed a recovery many would not want to attempt. read more
