Unfortunately, our experience was consistent with the lower end ratings- ok food mixed with frozen/canned type of offerings. We were told about the special, a patty melt with potato wedges which I ordered. My wife ordered a "garbage" salad. We also ordered pepper jack bites with buffalo sauce. The bites were obviously a frozen item, the buffalo sauce would have made them very good still if they hadn't been so over cooked. My wife's salad was swimming in dressing but otherwise just ok. My melt had a very good sauce, but not enough to make it better than ok. It also came with potato chips out of a box or bag, not wedges. We heard our server repeating wedges over and over to other tables so asked about it when we paid, she offered to get some for us, which we declined. We had a coke and an ice water to drink, an appetizer, salad and sandwich, our bill came to $30. Not worth the price! read more

Just had our high school reunion last night! We booked the big room and it fit all of us in perfectly! The servers who worked did a super job keeping everyone happy and the wing apps and other food that we ate was so good! Everyone left happy and we will totally be back for our 20 year reunion! This place is hit or miss, and more often than not it is miss. Sometimes Potato skins are great another time they are burnt like cinder, a burger can be not bad one time, and absolutely foul another. There are some waitstaff that will bust their butt to serve you, and there are others that seem like they just want to stand and chit chat at the bar. If you are looking for drinks it is not a bad place, full bar, and plenty of options. But a place that the staple cheese on their cheeseburger is velveeta? You really need to check. And if you want to change things up it seems like the kitchen has a problem doing anything that is not written verbatim on the menu. read more

We've been here 3 times in the last 3 weeks. The food has not disappointed each time. If you're the kind of person that likes strong drinks (me) then this is your place. Good reasonably priced drinks, excellent food, good service, an awesome spot. I recommend getting the margherita pizza with the loaded potato bites. Out. Of. Control. My wife and I stopped in to Walt's hoping to find a new regular dinner spot. We were really disappointed. We ate at the bar and the service we extremely slow. Our food was mediocre at best. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich. I was confused by the bad taste of the 'buffalo' sauce. I asked for a side of it and the waiter brought out a saucer of an oily black mess. My wife barely touched her salad due to the bad taste of the dressing. The Other Pub has a great setting. I like their new building. It looks like they are set up well to handle multiple big parties and I hear their catering is good. We have eaten at the Other Pub for years. I was somewhat disappointed that their Garbage Salad wasn't as good as I remembered when it was on their main menu. I went to Walt's Other Pub looking to try a new restaurant in town. My hostess was really friendly and I was very happy with my service. I had the burger based on Jeff... I can't remember what it is called, but it was delicious! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal. My margarita was made a little strong. The appetizer we got was cheesy fries, and it was cold by the time we got it. The cheese was not completely melted. Overall it was pretty good. read more

What a wonderful experience! Stopped in to meet a few old friends Wednesday night that had told us about the buy 7 get 7 free wings deal. My husband,and I got there early, and decided to sit at the bar until the rest of our party showed. Both bartenders were very quick, helpful, and made us both laugh. Drinks were great, and obviously not measured out. Finally our party showed up, and we received a round table that made it perfect for us all to talk, and still get a clear view of the whole place. Everyone at our table seemed very satisfied with their food, since we were all ready to take a nap afterwards. I personally had a few wings ( we got a few orders for the table, and there was no limit to how many you could order per table.) My favorite sauce was the hot, it was flavorful, but still had a kick. For my meal I had the Fried Catfish Platter, if I had known how large this was, I would have made someone split it with me. It was delicious, and served with rice, vegetables, side salad, and hot bread. Everything I had was hot, and perfectly cooked. Our service throughout was amazing, everyone seemed to be happy, and helpful towards each other. Two servers that didn't wait on us said have a great evening on the way out, which I thought was nice considering sometimes even your own waitress doesn't. I've been to Walt's 5 Times in the last two months because it's around the corner from where my brother just moved. First time the place was not busy because we went off hours. This experience was one of a good solid neighborhood pub. But since then my opinion has dipped. When their busy the food quality slips a lot. Last night we sat at the bar and fought to get service while people around us we served. At the end I placed my credit card on the bar for 10 minutes while the 3 bartenders looked past it. I finally got one guy to close me out. I complained and left a poor tip. My feeling was we weren't local enough even though I've lived here 15+ years. I won't go back. And I won't recommend. Too many similar places with better food and service. Sad that they settle for being less than they could be. read more

We were in there 11/02/2013, and no one would seat us. They took our name and made us wait. They seated every person that came in there after us. About a half hour went by and we were told they were waiting for a table in the family area for us. Other people came in with kids and they were being seated. We had our grandson with us and he is mixed. I was telling my husband that it wasn't fair that everyone was being seated but us when a waiter overheard me. He said we could follow him to a table. I've been here 3 times recently. The wings are INCREDIBLE. Large, juicy, crispy and hot! The sauce selection could be a bit more varied, but I may be spoiled. My other favorite is the flatbread sandwich, Butcher and the Mouse. It is incredible. The soups are also very excellent. The burgers and pork tenderloin were good. This was our second time here, only came back because we were satisfied the first time. Not so good this time. The coconut shrimp appetizer was a little burnt and way short on coconut. Anniversary party and was told we could only order from a limited menu.when confronted that one of us was vegetarian and wanted a cob salad they said they would have to ask permission from management. Wife ordered 8oz. Ribeye that was not fit to feed a dog. Baked potato was cold and dinner salad was a wet lettuce mess. Mind you that all meals were purchased by each person so why a limited menu. This place is disgusting. I wouldn't even bother but family and friends always convince me to go but I am done with that! I have gone to this place many times over the years and it never changes it's always disgusting! We were set up by the draft of the door. There was food all over the floor. And I ordered the French dip sandwich, it looked good but tasted like a man's sweaty gym sock smells like! I have no idea how this place is so popular and I have no idea how it has managed to stay open all these years! I love this place and am so happy that it opened up close to my parents. The location itself is great because it has a ton of seating and a great outdoor area for when it is actually nice out. I went there to eat with friends and was not expecting a lot based on the reviews I had read before going. The food was average. I got the Ultimate Grilled Cheese with French fries. The sandwich was pretty good. It could have used a little flavor. The fries were rather cold when they arrived which was disappointing. The waiters were average as well. They were not overly friendly, but at least they weren't intrusive. I probably would not choose to eat here again. read more

The young lady stated this was only her 2 nd day, but really no help was there for her. 45 mins to order our food after we had ordered appetizers which we still hadn't received and this was on a Monday night at 8:15 then and other 40 mins to get our check. 2.5 hrs to get salads and burgers!! My family and I go here every Tuesday for kids night. It's a very good deal. One of the best servers that we've ever had anywhere, it had to be here. Ask for Robert. He is amazing! One thing that is a downer is that they changed from the delicious, yummy, warm bread to these store bought, hard, heated up in a microwave 2 hours ago rolls. They are so gross! Bring back the bread! I visited walts other pub today. I was delighted with the food and the environment, as well as the staff, with the exception of the horrid server, Danni, I was cursed to be given. She was terrible and, though I was very understanding when she claimed the rest of the staff was at fault for her being so slow to cater to my very simple requests, she still was very unreasonably rude to me and my family, who came in from out of town. I don't usually leave bad reviews; in fact, I usually only leave great reviews and I tend to just take bad experiences with a grain of salt because I know people have bad days. This is the first bad review I have ever given on here and it is much needed. Attention should be brought to such an obviously unfit employee. I will continue to visit walts other pub but will request any server but her from here read more

Food is ok not consistent we have eaten there a few times and dined in but each time our food has never been the same we decided to get take out last night and realized that you are charged a 10% fee in addition to your total bill to carryout your own food!
