They also have a great pool area for the summer months, I just loved relaxing by the pool when we came here. They do have a private spa as well, but I haven't tried that out yet. They have a trampoline which is great for the kids to burn off some energy. Its a short walk away from the main beach and a short drive from other beaches and wineries in the area. Also just across the road is the small shopping area of Snells Beach. The owners are nice and friendly and if its your first time in the area be sure to ask them for some advice on where to go as they are happy to help. This place is a winner.

There were 4 of us staying so we wanted a 2 bedroom and so this is where we ended up. Since our first visit we have been back to this place about 4 or 5 times, with family and friends. Once inside the 2 bedroom unit, we found they are very spacious and have everything you need, with balconies off the large room and lounge. They also have a small kitchenette with a microwave and fryer so you can have breakfast in the room if you wish. They also have a restaurant / bar onsite and you can go down and have a meal or you can stay in your room and order room service. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating and is just a casual and friendly place to be with very reasonable prices. They are also very child friendly and have crayons and things to keep the kids entertained. If you're looking for somewhere to stay in the area and aren't looking for anything flash or luxurious, but just want to relax then you can be confident in staying here.

I can recommend the fish and chips, and please take a look around while you wait; the interior is really something special. Great location, right by McDonalds with the best coffee. Across the street from the Beach & only 2 blocks from a very good Grocery Store. The Manager is a very nice lady who will get whatever you need. We were married in New Zealand 44 years ago. This Motel is how our apartment was back then. Bare basic but quiet & convenient.

Their Bed and Breakfast just up the hill from Matheson Bay in Leigh is a natural evolution for them - it is such a beautiful spot and they are the kind of people who like to share. They have a few different accommmodation options including self-contained with its own entrance and bathroom. Jan's flair for design means it looks like a luxury hotel room and the house is contemporary and makes the most of the amazing views. Breakfast on the deck overlooking the ocean and you'll never want to leave. Murray is the chef (although Jan is no slouch and it's a team effort) and anything you eat at TiKouka Hill will be delicious, creative and made with only the best ingredients. During the summer their eldest daughter actually got married here and it was absolutely beautiful. I'm not sure if they are going into doing events but they certainly pulled the wedding off like total pro's. Your time spent here will be as social or peaceful as you desire, although I recommend having a good chat to them and whichever houseguests are present as they are really interesting and fun people and can steer you towards all the best things to do in the area.
