Of all the doctor's I've had in my many years Dr. Hsiao has more compassion and is the most patient of any Dr. I've seen. He will take the time to discuss your issues and make sure you understand. He is so down to earth and friendly. Today in addition to excellent medical care I received a hug from him. Now, how many doctors do that? I would not hesitate to recommend him to any of my family or friends.

They accepted my insurance card and charged me my regular copay. I was seen, received a prescription, and thought that was the end of it. Recently I received a bill in the mail claiming I owed them for the office visit. Thinking this was clearly a billing error, I gave them a call. I explained that they accepted my insurance and charged the copay, so I shouldn't owe anything else. The response I received was extremely rude, she repeatedly told me that I owed them money and never directly answered why I was charged a copay and why I was told my insurance was accepted if that was not true. I later called my insurance only to find out that they are "out of network", and they did NOT accept my insurance. This office does a bait and switch where they will tell you they accept your insurance, charge you the copay, then send you a surprise bill in the mail months later for the FULL price of the office visit, because they DO NOT take your insurance! So don't go here unless you're expecting to pay FULL PRICE for an office visit!

The day I went they didn't have a receptionist working, it was just one lady doing everything. She worked very hard to get everything done as quickly as possible but there was still about a ten minute wait in the waiting room, but she was very professional and got the lab work done very quickly. If they had a receptionist it would have probably been much quicker, there was a lady in the waiting room who said that they had never taken that long before so perhaps it was just an off day, but I don't think I'll be going back there for my lab work.

I have a prescription for a controlled substance, and his staff are apparently too incompetent to figure out the DEA-approved system of remotely sending it to pharmacies. I have to drive fifty plus miles every month to get it. I'm writing this review because I've been in their empty waiting room for over five and a half hours and they have not yet been able to provide me with that single piece of paper, saying they are "too busy". This happens with almost every receptionist they hire, almost every time. The gentleman before me reported he has been waiting for 45 minutes past his appointment, and the sign says to inform the receptionist if you wait past 20 minutes. He was told to sit back down and they'll deal with it when they deal with it. The woman after me was sent an incorrect prescription and the receptionist refused to relay a message to the doctor. This kind of thing happens all the time here, and I'll keep filling the internet with these until they get my prescription or my phone dies. The latter is far more likely.
