We made it out on Thursday for a rare date night at Laughs in the Lounge! I had come out one other time in the same space to see comedian Shane Mauss, who is hilarious! Walter Studios is beautifully decorated with stunning artwork, each room exuding its own unique vibe. The comedy took place in their cozy lounge. Chase Harter took the stage as our host, and we were doomed to laugh until our faces hurt. Like a mailman, he delivered! (I just made that up, haha) Honestly, all the stand up comics were amazing, big props to them all for their talent and sharing their humor. The show itself was free, but donations were encouraged and they absolutely deserved it! By the end, my cheek muscles were begging for mercy, but honestly, it was worth the pain! Laughter truly is the best medicine! I would absolutely love to come back for future comedy shows!

This was our first time coming to this venue. This venue is a bar/restaurant and concert venue. The venue does not interfere with normal business so you can still come to enjoy the drinks while not attending a concert. It was a big venue; clean and well set up. The staff was nice and friendly and the customer service was great. We had a great time and would definitely come again.

This is a really unique and eclectic music/event venue! I came here tonight for a lecture on transformation and I've also been here for a few ALT sessions. There's a nice size parking lot which I really appreciate for downtown haha. They also serve food and drinks here and there's a lot of cool art and themed rooms. The events always seem to be well organized.

Love that they have their own parking lot, at 1am on a Saturday night it was only 1/3 full. They also have events every month. This was a normal night, main room and main bar was empty, the bouncer was very nice and helpful and told me about the other rooms. Restrooms are at one end, the Blue Room is at the opposite end. The Blue Room has a DJ, dance floor and bar and was EDM. The side rooms are more for conversation. There is a trippy mushroom room, and there is also a library classy room. Interesting concept.

We had such a blast at Walter Studios No Pants ride on the light rail party on Sunday. The DJ was awesome! The bartenders were quick, and the drinks were reasonably priced. I definitely will be back.

Love this place! We had plenty of room to dance and theres so many spots and art to explore! Also snacked on a pizza that was delicious! Very nice

I came out for the Thursday live music and I like this place. It's got a retro hippie vibe with some cool decor and inviting staff. I enjoyed the music and a couple of cold drinks. The elite dip was excellent as well and I'm looking forward to g forward to more music on Thursdays!

A must-see melting pot of food, art, and music. Walter Studios is one of my favorite places to visit on a Friday or Saturday night. It is a fantastic venue to bring friends to as it has gorgeous and interactive art installations, hidden rooms, multiple stages, late night bites, and more! To make the experience more enjoyable, they employ a variety of performers who you may see dressed up in outlandish costumes. The employees along with the guests are super friendly so don't be shy! They have themed events such as the Disco night I attended earlier this year where my friends and I danced the night away to Bee Gees and ABBA. Typically, the artists that play here are techno artists. The headlining artists have entrance fees with tickets available online. However, if you are strapped for cash or not interested in the artist of the night, you can enter Walter Studios and hang out in the other parts of the bar. The main stage area is ticketed. It has the most bathrooms inside and the best performers. Another huge positive for me of this place are the clean bathrooms. Not many venues of this size have clean bathrooms so this is a huge bonus. Can't speak to the cocktails or food because I haven't had many but definitely will try in the future. So put on your best outfit - something fun, flirty, and artistic and head on over to Walter's.

This place is absolutely phenomenal and definitely not on the radar for as much as it deserves it. We went for brunch and everything was outstanding. We really enjoyed the atmosphere. It's clear that this place has a lot of opportunity to bring in even more people than the capacity it had at the time of our visit. This place is also huge with multiple concept rooms that open up for events. If you hear about something happening here - don't walk, run!

Tepachemama Pineapple, tequila, clarified lime So refreshingly delicious and deceptive Blood Orange Whiskey Sour Sonoran Sipper Prickly Pear juice, tequila, lemon juice Poblano BBQ Beer-battered poblano rings, smoked mozzarella, BBQ sauce, bacon, green chile mayo, sesame buns My wife and I split this; the burger was the epitome of "medium" perfection, the poblano rings were a nice addition with not too much heat, really good amount of food The waffle fries were a bit crunchy but delicious The Walter sauce is incredible Would absolutely return, would absolutely recommend

Cool vibe love the local artist, the vibe was great. Jazz on Sundays was nice, but something about the morning brunch time had a cold atmosphere to it. The servers were nice but unfortunately the drinks and food were subpar. Chilaquiles was just chips... with bean scraps and salsa scraps lightly sprinkled on, that's just nachos or just chips to be honest really disappointed in that. The michelada was watered down and a agin the Tajín rim looked like poor execution lightly thrown on the rim... and looked like someone with wet hands wiped it all off or already licked it. The vieja entree was cold but was the best dish out of four poorly executed entrees.

They host their events in this big space!

What a cute atmosphere this place has! You can rent out their rooms for any of your event needs and there's an open bar space for regular walk ins!

Main level/Upstairs vibe is well-lit with a true cantina bar feel. High-top tables, seats at the bar & happy hour from 4-7 pm make it ideal for some $7 drinks!!. The collection of Tequilas is GREAT. Many of which do not contain additives. I won't lie, I thought I was a big fan until I realized I didn't recognize a lot of the tequilas they had on hand. Downstairs is a whole different vibe. Custom craft cocktails, dim lighting with artwork, and more make it feel like an upscale NYC spot in your basement. I did 2 of my favorites, Paloma De Guayaba with the custom block name etched and the Baya Nueva. While in the Cantina, I had to order my friend the Basura (trash), but that wasn't the case... then again, it is served in a plastic bag, and is definitely a throwback to my early 20's of gettin' lit!!!! Always look forward to sharing this place with friends visiting and connecting with those locally.

It was busy, but not packed, which made the service stand out more than it should have. I had to ask for water twice, never got a refill, and overall felt largely ignored--minimal eye contact, no real warmth, just an impersonal feel that didn't match the space. It felt like a place that may be a bit of a victim of its own success--popularity has grown, but delivery hasn't fully kept pace. Part of the appeal here is the permanent taco truck outside, which I know from past visits is excellent, and I love the truck's outspoken, unapologetic support for immigrants. That said, the cocktail itself was excellent. I was specifically looking for a coffee-based drink before heading to another event, and the Cambures al Estilo Foster delivered on flavor. It was tiny, though--served in a small stemmed glass, gone in a few sips. It did the job, but some may find the portion underwhelming for the price. No major complaints, but nothing pulling me back either. I'm adding a fourth star on a bit of a hunch--I'd like to think they can dial it back in if I return.

First, for a divey-style bar, the barkeep was really friendly. And they have good drinks. He made a stiff dirty martini, an espresso martini, and a few of their Mezcal-based "Smoke and Berries."
