I'm afraid I have to echo Memo E.'s sentiments as my experience with this company (if indeed it is…read morea company at all) has not been good either. I was invited to an online group interview which went well, after which I was invited to a second, individual online interview for which the interviewer never showed. After this display of rudeness, which I was at the time still willing to allow had been some kind of mistake, I emailed her several times and called both her direct number (which I had to find on the web because she never provided it) and the general contact number for the company, each of which went straight to voicemail where I left several messages, none of which was responded to for over a month...which in turn leads me to wonder what kind of staffing company can't staff its own front desk. When I originally posted this review, the business owner left a response saying I was "unreceptive" to Alaant's request for further information; this is quite simply a lie. I had no desire to make another appointment to talk with these people as they ignored the last appointment I made with them - fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me - but I did reply to their email with all the information they requested. Apparently that wasn't good enough for them. On top of the unprofessional behavior described above, they seem to be another business that tries to make itself look better by publicly accusing their clientele of dropping balls that were in fact dropped by their own company. The more I find out about this company, the less I like it.

I had a good interview, and they were very flexible with my schedule, which I appreciated greatly. I was immediately welcomed into the Alaant family with open arms, even though this was just a temporary position. Everyone at the company was friendly toward me, and I always had support around me when questions arose. I picked my responsibilities up quickly, and the two months flew by. In conclusion, I can't give this company enough praise. All the staff I came into contact with were extremely professional, and I am grateful for the time I spent there. When I graduate, I know that Alaant will be a great company to help me find the next step in my professional career.

My experience with Nesco Resource has been very good. I submitted my resume to Nesco for a position…read morethey had posted on a job website I use (or that I did use at the time; now that Nesco's set me up, I think and hope I won't be needing a job search website ever again) and Robert contacted me to say my resume looked great for the position. He had me come into the office to meet him and so he could tell me about the position, which turned out to be at a very exciting, fast-growing and industry-leading company in the area. Robert coordinated everything and, long story short, I got the job. I've only been there about three weeks now, but I can say I've had three truly great jobs in my life, and this is one of those three (and in ways, this one's the best of them). I don't know how to express my gratitude to Robert and to Nesco for making this happen. Robert's a busy guy and hasn't always been as readily available or quick to respond as I might like (hence only four stars), but that's a relatively minor thing when viewed in the context of the amazing job he's helped me get. It's just something that might be helpful for other job-seekers to bear in mind. Be patient, and Robert and/or the Nesco team might well find you a job that's truly perfect for you. That's what they've done for me.

This IS the WORST and most unprofessional Temp Agency I have ever worked with! I first was…read moreinterviewed by Strategic Resources for the customer service position I applied for. The interviewer asked if I was currently employed in which I was and there after explained that because of the specific schedule this new position offered, it would be best to leave my other job to fit that need. Soon after I was scheduled an interview with the employer. The interview went great and I was soon called by Strategic Resources to confirm my position as a new customer service representative, along with the date, time & location of when I was to start. Everything seemed right as rain until 5 days later(a week before I started working) I was called by Strategic Resources stating that the customer service position I JUST agreed to was no longer available! Shocked & upset I ask there female representative(who also interviewed me!) how and when did I lose my position! She answered with a snide gesture that because of there being sooo many temp agencies being used by the Employer that I just "Lost it"!!! After a brief debate on how I could have possibly lost my position she then stated that there is another position available and if I wanted to apply for it. . . .Sigh. Long story short I didn't get either positions! The second position that was offered to me "was gone" as well! As a matter of fact the female representative told me(In a matter of fact way) that I was suppose to start the first customer service position a few days ago!!! That's right. . .The same position that she told me before that was "NO LONGER AVAILABLE"!! I suspect the company I was SUPPOSE to work for most likely asked Strategic Resources what happened to me! Absolutely Feed Up, I explained to the female representative that because of Strategic Resources I had absolutely NO JOB NOW! She then ignored my response and continued to be rude by cutting me off in mid-conversation stating that "We have positions available this April. Which one do you want?" I told her it doesn't matter! Please. Learn from my mistake. They are EXTREMELY disorganized! They dont give you all of the details nor give information! I sent an email to them asking for the date, time & location of my new job and they replied "Why do you need that information?" WHAT?!?!?! O __ O!! Please!! Stay AWAY for Strategic Resources in Albany NY! YOU WILL be Jobless and treated like crap by there representatives!

Although he does seem friendly (in a phony and superficial sort of way) upon first meeting, it should quickly become apparent that his services are essentially useless... I reached out to him in the spring of 2018 (if memory serves) with the hopes of finding a job outside of my area (Sullivan County NY) as there is next to no employment options in that area and I have been trying to relocate ever since I graduated college in 2014... Our first meeting was little more than a 45min sales pitch where he did little more than proclaim how awesome he is and ramble on about all of his life accomplishments...He explained to me that he knew "all about the Catskills" and how there is nothing for anyone there and "would be glad to do whatever he could to help me relocate with a worthwhile job." I then paid his ridiculous $600 fee and the truth started to come out) 2nd meeting he handed me a worksheet with hundreds of jobs and told me to pick 20...I did and he acted like he had actually done something for me and that I should be grateful...I explained to him that I can't just pick up and relocate in hopes of finding a job in this field without a plan and that I needed further help....He then explained that he is NOT a career counselor and that I should probably just "stay where I am and work on myself" and then consider moving away but when I explained to him that waiting another 5-10 years wasn't an option, he just shrugged his shoulders and simply advised me to "seek out therapy for my depression" (As if I wasn't already in therapy lol) He also told me that I would probably "bomb" any interview I ever say for because I was "clearly depressed and quite socially inept." When I purposefully missed my 3rd meeting, he called me wondering why, but his way of "wondering" was to talk down to me about how he "isn't a miracle worker" and that I should just be grateful that "Someone like me is employed at all" and that I should just "plan on retiring" from said job (that only amplifies my depression and anxiety) I was never looking for a "miracle worker" or a "magic bullet/cure", rather a counselor who could help me find a stable, full time job that pays enough for me to pay my bills....What I got was a smarmy, condescending snake oil salesman who gave me a pile of useless worksheets and waited until I paid him to explain that he couldn't help "someone like me" This man is a both a con artist and a thief...PLEASE look elsewhere for employment related concerns.
