I was impressed with how that employee shook it off and continued to smile, because I was still annoyed hours later. They…read more bill your insurance incorrectly so they will be paid in full whatever they choose to bill you for. This practice is known as balance billing or double dipping. There are laws against this unethical act. Providers are contracted to certain charges according to the insured plan. They do not bill your insurance correctly so you end up with a denial from your insurance that they expect you to just pay, no questions asked. Well not this girl I ask a lot of questions and don't stop with a simple "It's your insurance". My insurance company explained in detail what my coverage was and what I should have been charged. Unless you have disposable money I would never buy glasses there. Horrible business ethics!

So my adventure started with a poor young lady who you could tell had very little if any training…read moreon the tests that were performed prior to the exam .She had to repeat them several times .Then another employee stepped in to complete the exams.My confidence at that point was waning that the pre exam testing was actually accurate.Them I was placed in a room for a virtual exam.The technician could not get the results to the online optometrist.She had to manually enter them in a chat box.So now let's turn to the optometrist.The poor guy was in maybe Mexico.And to beat the band he had some kind of a speech impediment.I'm not judging but I could not understand what he was saying half of the time .Not sure on the accuracy.After the exam was completed.Was was told to go to the front and someone would be with me .While I was walking around for several minutes.I overheard a technician who seemed to be the manager helping a gentleman.She told him his quote was 1100.00 dollars .When he questioned the amount somehow it went down to 400 bucks.After the gentleman left I overheard the manager telling another technician what you do is to start the high and roll back the amount if they question.Are they selling glasses or selling used cars .Clearly this establishment has a poor company mission statement.They clearly have a management issue .Poorly trained employees are a reflection of management. Submitting this review because of some of the bad ones I saw prior to going in. I went in there…read morethis am around 9am. I was greeted right away, Day helped me. She was extremely helpful, took time to find the right fitting frames for me and I was out of there in about 15-20min with the two frames I chose for around $150 for both including the prescription (which I already had). I came back around 12:30 and they were ready to go. Couldn't believe how quick the turn around was and the service was great. I will definitely come back.

She says no that's for people that don't have insurance so they can get that discount. Which it did not say that. I didn't argue I just took one of the glasses off. I just bought one.
