I consider myself a patient and polite person but one of the women in there was just straight nasty and condescending toward me when I went in and asked if they could help me (I am a patient there and they take walk ins so they say) when I was on my way home from work my contact fell out and I have a really hard time seeing without them and I didn't have my glasses. I was "luckily" close by and stopped in to see if they could help me with a pair of contacts and said I would pay or do whatever they required, I just needed something to get me home... the unbelievable attitude and nastiness... I'm still sitting in the parking lot waiting for my fiance to bring me my glasses (over an hour away)... changing places immediately.

My granddaughter's glasses (purchased through a different company) broke with both arms unable to be repaired, the previous company they were purchased through, continued to give us the run around. My husband has been a customer of America's Best for over ten years and never had any problems, so I took our granddaughter there. Laura and Sandy at the Butler location were absolutely incredible. My granddaughter was able to leave her appointment with a new frame for the old lenses, while awaiting the arrival of two new pairs of glasses. My granddaughter had been going through her first month of fifth grade, as well as trying to play soccer, with taped up glasses and the arms kept falling out of the tape. It literally brought me to tears to see these two ladies show our granddaughter so much kindness and respect. It is good for children to see adults go above and beyond to be kind. I don't know why anyone would go anywhere else for glasses or contacts. I know our family never will go any else!

I was impressed with the high tech equipment Butler Eye Care had that other eye Dr.s offices were clearly lacking. The selection of frames were the best brands as well. I would definitely recommend Butler Eye Care because they actually care about their patients. I will return!

Two months ago, his new glasses broke so I went back to Boscov's so we could put in a claim for his glasses, which was fine. and I also bought a pair of glasses for myself. The check was for $266. Lisa at the counter warned it would be a while to get the glasses back. I promised I wouldn't call until Memorial day. I called last week, and Lo and Behold, the Boscov's optical Department, Lisa and Dr. Morford was gone! No warning, no glasses. The best the person (Theresa) who answered my call said she could give me the phone number for their supplier (US Vision). I called several times, no response. I left an email. No response. I can't be the only person with a pending (and paid for) order from Boscov's Optical Department. Theresa also reminded me that Dr Morford was only renting from Boscov's. However, both of the checks I wrote are made to Boscov's and also the receipt. Any advise?

I've been a loyal patient of Dr. Wheatall's for 18 years. He is a highly intelligent and qualified…read moredoctor and would never recommend unnecessary surgeries or procedures you didn't need. This place used to be very professional and precise. However, over the last 7-8 years, the competence of this office has been on a downhill slide. A lady who used to work there retired, and the doctor hired TWO girls to replace her. They continuously misplace files, bumble appointments, and are completely unfit for the job. They run around there like a couple schoolkids and act like the office is their playground. I had an upcoming appointment with the doctor, and this was the first time in all the years I've been going there that I didn't receive a confirmation call. Since I schedule my exams a year in advance, I called the office to make sure I was still on his book. The person I spoke with assured me that I was. When I entered his office 15 minutes early for my scheduled annual, I was immediately told that I had cancelled my appointment. As it turns out, one of the inept newer hires cancelled MY appointment instead of the person she should have. Our names that she mixed up weren't even similar at all. They just started with the same first and last initials. To make matters worse, Dr. Wheatall wasn't even in the office, and none of them up there had a clue as to when he was returning! That's totally irresponsible and inexcusable. To me, I feel that it was borderline medical malpractice. The doctor should be in his office at ALL times, whether he has appointments or not. They did reschedule me for a couple weeks later. Once I got home, I called the office and told them that I wasn't coming back, ever. I could not bring myself to continue going to a place that has become so dysfunctional, mismanaged, and unprofessional. Plus, I could see that the girl who made the error had no remorse for what she did nor did she care. When the doctor values his employees over his patients, it's time to leave. I gave this office an additional star, because the doctor is such a good one when available to diagnose you. I also remember the days when it ran efficiently and smoothly. It's really a shame, and it's sad to see how low the standards of this office have fallen.
