Stopped by here few times to pick up some items. Grocery area could be stocked with more items, every time I go, the produce, meat and frozen areas are all 1/2 empty. Self-checkout is simple and easy, I'm usually in and out in 15-30 minutes depending on what I need. The store is clean and well stocked. But the customer service is horrible. If you dare to have a return, you're looked at and treated as if you're a criminal trying to pull the wool over their eyes. I get they need to be careful but when I come in with a product and a receipt and the product is obviously broken, and I bought the items that day I should not be treated with distain. If it had only happened once I would be sure it was just an employee having a bad day, but in the last 14 years that I've lived here the handful of times I've needed to make a return. I've been treated bad each and every time. Once had a cashier ring up a gift card. She told me the gift card didn't work and she kept that gift card and grabbed a 2nd gift card. Come to find out I get home and I had paid for two gift cards one for the dishonest cashier and another for the grieving widow in which I was purchasing the gift card for to begin with. When I called the store and informed them of the dishonest action, they told me they could not help me in the matter. I do not understand how with as many cameras as they have in that store they could not check. There have been several other costly incidents, so much so that we rarely buy our groceries at Walmart anymore and now we use another store. read more

Also wanted to update that 31 spots are for the pick up orders. Another 30 something spots are for the pallets of gardening products, so it's very difficult to find a spot at all-especially with how busy it is. I would pick up but there's never a time slot the same day. Plus half the pick up spots are empty while cars are driving in circles just trying to find any spot. Usually have to park way in the back of the lot-and being heavily pregnant makes it more of a pain to get inside. Aldi and Price Cutter are a lot easier to get into, and if you have access, the military base commissary. read more

I bought tires and made an appt to have them installed. I received a text that my appt had been cancelled, because the tires would not arrive in time. I called and could only speak to AI so I called the store directly. They told me to just show up at 7 am anyway, and I told them that I would not, but would call the day before to make sure the tires arrived. On the day of my appt, I found out it had been cancelled, but they took me anyway. My complaint is that not one person in the auto service area acknowledged my presence. One person mumbled something at me, but did not repeat himself when I asked him to repeat what he just said. The department was not mean, they were just indifferent. They acted like they were only there to do a job and did not want to talk to anyone. After they were done, I got into my car and found out my low tire sensor was flashing. I went into the store to talk to someone about it, and found out that it was malfunctioning. They were not going to tell me that? I would think that was something that should be told to a customer. I would have had them replace it at that time. I will never use the Auto Center at Walmart again. Their customer service is horrible. Those workers need a class on good customer service or need to be replaced. read more

Auto center. First off, a 1 hour appointment took 2.5 hours and it was the first appointment of the day. They basically stole or lost my property. Here's the story. Made an appointment for tire service and had them add a note saying I wanted my old tires back; at check in, the desk made another note saying I wanted my old tires. When the car was pulled in she told the tech to put the tires in my car. Well, when the car was done there were no tires inside. They looked for them and found out that they loaded them onto a truck and it left. They said "Jason" was the person to talk to but wasn't there and would call us. This was yesterday morning, still no call, it's 1230 in the afternoon. 2 stars not 1 only because they did mount and balance my tires properly. read more

I am moving so I went to get something that I would not have to cook while I am living without my dishes to cook with. I went to the deli and I was helped by Dennis and Michael. They were boys helpful and friendly and unbeknownst to them the customers coming to the deli were talking about their customer service and their appreciation for them. These two should get a raise or some sort of recognition because you just don't see this type of great customer service anymore! read more

This Walmart kills birds. We were shopping in the garden section when a baby sparrow fell from the rafters. It was covered in glue. We were able to save the baby bird and return it to his family. He suffered a broken foot and was missing feathers. The next day we saw Eco Lab setting up glue traps in Walmart's Garden center. They line them up on the ceiling beams and wait for the birds to get stuck and fall to their death. If the birds don't die in the fall, they die from starvation. They are unable to fly or walk because their wings and feet are glued to their bodies. Disgusting torture. Walmart needs to find a kinder way to deter birds. read more

Wow, the previous reviewers have been pretty tough on this Walmart. Walmart is not my favorite because of their company values and the clientele they attract but like everyone else it's necessary to visit from time to time. In St. Robert, MO this is the only grocery store so that's where I went. It's a typical Walmart. There's lots of people, wide aisles, and a big selection. If I'm in town again I'll go back. So this Walmarts produce is always bad they don't switch it out and when they do the new produce that comes in is just as cotton as before you have to go on base/post just to get a decent head of lettuce. Also there is only one person at the jewelry counter so if you want to get your kids ears pierced you can't and when you need help looking for something they don't help a customer at all. Also The bathrooms are always disgustingly dirty we're talking about piss and shit on the walls and floors, toilet paper or paper towels everywhere and when you talk to any manager there they don't care at all. They need a complete new staff that actually gives a damn. read more

If you can get on post, avoid this place at all cost. The prices are steep and the quality of everything is terrible.

Poor and redundant selection, which is crazy because the Lebanon and Rolla locations are better stocked and have much better selections, prices are just above average then other walmart locations, by checking with your smart phone you can confirm this as well. Shopping carts are beat to hell and the store is poorly cleaned and stocked. Stocking people seem to want to run you down with their pallet jacks and staff don't seem to know there department locations or merchandise very well. This place is just sad.... read more

Okay for a Wal-mart. Show up later and you can get half-priced prepared food. Unbelievably they sell food for cheaper than the commissary sometimes (depends on the item). Selection is limited compared to some of the larger ones but if you need something, whatever that might be, and its in the middle of the night (or day) you can probably find it here. Just be discerning in what you buy-- some things are way overpriced-- others not so much so. I bought a dining room table made of real wood (not particle board or laminate) for about 200. You can't beat that. On the flip side its like $5+/gal for milk. Oh and always check online for big ticket items. Often times you can order online for in-store pick-up for less than in the in-store price. Should shopping be this painful? No-- but if Wal-mart closed where would you go (other than post) to shop in Saint Robert? read more

It's the worse Walmart I've been in. If I could give it zero stars I would. The employees are rude and the grocery area is dingy and dirty. The hot food area looks even worse than the produce area. They have a monopoly since there is no other grocery store in Saint Robert. If I could shop at the Commissary I would. So I will just have to drive 30 miles to Aldi in Rolla. read more

They may have the product you want but not the flavor or the right brand that you wanted. They don't stock everything and their prices are the same as any other Walmart. You get what you pay for. The service center is by far the worst I've been to. I parked my car in the line for an oil change. Nobody came out so I headed inside to get some help. As I was heading inside a mechanic passed me and held the door open for me. Thank you sir, but you forgot to ask if I needed help. The cashier inside had to find someone to help me. I put my order in and did a little shopping. Came to check on my car and they hadn't started yet so I decided to check back 40 minutes later. They still hadn't started on my car. There's only so much browsing you can do in Walmart. Apparently, they screwed up the scheduling (according to an employee) and there were only two people there to do oil changes. I guess that's why the wait was so long. Had I been told in the beginning there was a long wait, I would've left. Fast forward to me being there a little over an hour and a half, the mechanic working on my car says he can't change my oil because he would have to take off my tire to do that. Ok, aren't you the mechanic? He says he didn't drain anything, however, his arms were covered in oil. I've had my oil changed by a Walmart before, not sure why this guy had issues. Never had anyone tell me they couldn't change my oil because they had to take of my tire. Almost two hours wasted there for nothing. read more
