Unprofessional customer service with this location and nasty attitude from the woman who answers the phone for curbside service. Very rude blue vest employee at self checkout, condescending and forceful demeanor. I am used to Walmart being more professional than this, even if they are not necessarily the most visible/helpful employees (this is not abnormal for this day and age) but I am not used to them being blatantly rude to customers. I did not get the persons name as they moved away after this, I guess they had to correct the patrons of the store and then moved along? Needless to say if you come to this location and use self checkout be warned you may be treated very rudely when staff here perceives you are following their unwritten, unspoken procedures. read more

I visited this location after having just arrived in Memphis. It decided to start raining like a major downpour as we parked. We tried to wait it out, but nope, we had to jump out in it. I was dropped off at the door. There were no handicap carts available. The ones that were sitting there were out of order. The shopping carts were soaking wet, so this was already not going to be a pleasant trip to the store. It was going to be a quick grab what you need and leave. That's exactly what I did. The black lady in the women dept btwn the hours of 11a-12n on July 17, 2025 was just down right RUDE for absolutely NO REASON at all! I walked up to ask her about a sleeveless tank I had purchased previously and before I could finished my question, she directed me to the table of REGULAR capped sleeve tshirts by RUDELY saying in a CURT demeanor, "ALL THE TIME & TRU SHIRTS ARE ON THE TABLE IN FRONT!" I tried to tell her not necessarily the Time & Tru brand but just some sleeveless t-shirts (I had on a sleeveless shirt and was motioning to the one I had on as an example. She FIRMLY reiterated what she had just said in an even MORE nasty tone. I WILL be calling corporate but also wanted to post a review here! She needs to be reprimanded IMMEDIATELY! The LOCKED UP items in the beauty dept are a hassle to purchase. There is NEVER any one in the dept to open the cabinets. You almost have to wait in line in the pharmacy to ask them to call someone to get the product, although both of the sales associates were kind, I still had to WAIT to get the products (one visit! Two SEPARATE items) and make two separate purchases on those items and yet ANOTHER purchase on other items after o finished shopping. This is a fairly new location (about 2 years) and I think they are doing great so far. I was able to find all that I needed while shopping. The staff was cool. They were able to help me out with something that I didn't have much success with at the other location. The store was clean and easy to navigate through and although they were crowded I didn't feel overwhelmed. Yesterday, I was at Walmart on Raleigh Lagrange MemphisTN. Was gonna do all the shopping; toiletries, cleaning products, pet supplies, groceries last. It's easily a $200 to $250 trip. Was even thinking about buying a futon for my office. That would have been an additional $200. I started in health and beauty & had to get them to unlock a cabinet to get a $7 item. She asked if I was done shopping because she had to walk me and that $7 product directly to a register. I said. Just keep the $#!+ and I left. I was treated like a thief in the first 10 minutes of my visit. Just as well... I would have had to check myself out, bag my own stuff, then prove to the 3 cackling greeter and cashiers NOT working that I paid for my stuff, all without the benefits and training of a Walmart employee. read more

Walmart, needs to its policy on car repairs, their employee sabotaged my oil filter, the car was sent off property with no waiver signed, to a uninsured, not bonded, not licensed and no certification "mechanic ". This location has terrible customer service especially in the Money Services Department. I try to cash check every single day but it closes before I can get to this location. We have been to both the Walmart's on germantown parkway and Raleigh LaGrange road. Overall we had a good experience at both stores. They had items we needed, great price and our recent visit at the Raleigh LaGrange location was fantastic due to the great employee leading self checkout. The Wife and I went to this location on 04/03/2021, around 8:00 pm. 1. Shoe dept was a mess. The very shoes we wanted had the right shoe missing, couldn't find it anywhere. There was nearly no steel toe shoes. 2. Checkout lines were backed up as usual with long lines reaching the grocery dept. 3. My wife asked about the lack of checkouts open considering the amount of customers in the store and the long lines. A female employee with no name tag on (of course) then proceeded to call my wife an "asshole." Verbatim. Was surprised at this, especially considering these things are the stores fault, no one else's. We were also told by a male employee that if we didn't get through the checkout, we would have to leave without us purchasing our items. What!? Who does that, especially considering this is their fault, not their customers, their slow lines caused this, not us, or any other customer. It's plain to see what's going on there by just watching the cashiers, they work in two speeds: slow and stop. They have a very carefree attitude, which causes everyone problems. 4. I enquired to the whereabouts of Nestle chocolate milk mix, to a male employee over in grocery, he had no clue where it was at, didn't help, didn't talk, I could only walk off. It's unbelievable that this is the kind of service we have to deal with, and who let's their employees cuss customers. When I walked into the store today it appeared to be dirty. I had to find the sanitizer and wipe down my cart. I had no problem with that but I felt that the employees were not focused on sanitary practices. I saw a lot of employees standing around talking to each other. I expected them to be wiping meat counters, food case handles, floors etc. Customers that were in line while they were checking out were in very close proximity to each other. I decided not to risk checking out and left the store. I think that Management has to wake up and deal with the Covid 19 virus in a more aggressive manor. read more

Okay, the convenience of the location is great for Husband and me. The current gas prices of $1.93 is a good deal, also. BUT, that's where the magic stops. The people who work here are absolutely appalling and so rude. First time Husband and I went, we were told by three different cashiers they had closed their lines at 9:00 PM! This left only 2 cashiers still open with lines backed up to the wazoo. It's hard enough to navigate through the crowd, but adding Husband's using a motorized cart because he is recovering from back surgery, it was a true cluster f***! Now tonight I went by myself. Arrived at deli counter at 7:40 because counter closes at 8:00. Waited 5 full minutes before I had to yell in the back for assistance. The one girl upfront was steadily cleaning her meat slicers or just ignoring me. Finally someone asked "what do you want?" Such polite people skills. I mean, really? I was told at 7:45 they were closed and couldn't get me what I asked for. When I asked doesn't the deli close at 8:00, the girl said they had to clean. Things got ugly when I got the manager. I got what I needed and was finished by 8:02. But because Karma's a bitch, the girls had to stay and help other people until 8:15 because the manager was still around. I seriously doubt we will ever be shopping at this evil place again... especially since we have so many other options right now. And, BTW, the one star is on only because Yelp mandates at least one star; otherwise, it would be negative stars. read more

However I am impressed with the amount of gluten free products they now carry and at very reasonable prices. Every single time I come to this Walmart nobody can open the baby formula! This is like the fifth time I've been here needing formula, because this Walmart is the closest place that carries it, that everyone is extremely rude saying they can't find a key. I ask a bunch of people every one is rude. one lady says she's coming but never does. I wait for at least 10 15 minutes everytime. just for them to come tell me there's no key. the store that requires that key to make sells cannot find the key. I have walked out of here five times with no milk for my child bc of lazy and unhelpful employees. I couldn't find it and the clerk said Walmart was not responsible for the loss. I searched the store for it to no avail and got no help from the store. I choose the one with a senior citizen trying to retrieve coupons off her smart phone for multiple item's. You can imagine how that was going... About 15min into this fiasco a register "supervisor" Finally takes notice and opens another register. I just came cross country I stopped in here to get my tires balanced because my car was shaking a little bit at higher speeds They put the car up and then called me to tell me I need to new front tires I told him the relatively new I don't need front tires she said well we depth gauge did and you are a tube which is by law required to change your tires. Yes, it's Walmart-but reading the reviews made me flash back to my last experience there in September, where I was standing in one line because there was only one checker and the self checkout was not working. I honestly was finding a way to not even rate them with one star. I came into the store about a month ago. I had brought about 15 pieces of uniforms I had bought for my children unfortunately I I had lost my receipt but I know they can give you credit in a gift card. I had to take them back because I moved to Bartlett and my kids were not required to use uniforms at their new school. When I walked into the store I never saw nobody stopping me to give me one of those happy face stickers they give you when you bring in merchandise from the outside. Anyways I went ahead to customer service, where after about 15 minutes in line and about to receive my gift card. One of the workers told the one that was waiting on me that she couldn't do that bc they had a policy that they couldn't exchange nothing over $100. My total was $100 and some cents. I admitted, I, ironically said: what? So is a few cents over? Then they changed the policy said it couldn't be over $50. Funny ha? Well I said thank you, grabbed my uniforms and attempted to walk my way out of the store. BUT I was stopped by the same worker yelling at me to STOP. She asked me why I didn't had a sticker which meant that clothes came from the outside. I said excuse me? So now is my fault that the worker at the entrance door slacked? She called security and they told me I couldn't leave the store until they view the video of me coming in. The worker even told them she saw me inside the store picking up clothes and that I was stealing. I am a 5'3 Hispanic female, that they were even surprised I was speaking English back to them. I was forced to seat on a couch they got at customer service which I advice you not to seat on. It had some type of fleas or something that made me itch on my feet. I had red bumps all over my feet the next few days. Anyways for close to an hour they made me wait until I decided to call the cops. Shortly after I called them, I told the security guy that they were on their way. And they rapidly told me SORRY we just finished watching the video and we did saw you coming inside with the clothes. The cops came in and I burst into tears. I felt so humiliated. Did they profiled me? YES!! THEY DID!! I honestly believe in my heart that is what happed. I've heard some of my friends going to specially this store and they say somehow workers tend to humilliate Hispanics. You should be ashamed of doing wrong to any kind of people.
