This is my local and all time favorite Walmart location. The staff is always nice and welcoming here. The employees always know where everything is and is willing to guide you to find your items. They never seem bothered and it's always a positive experience. The return process here for items are also super smooth. As long as you have your item and your receipt everything should be smooth sailing. The only ding would be in areas where you need someone to unlock the door for you to get the items, it is quite slow. There were times where I waited 20 minutes pressing the button countless times just waiting for someone to unlock it. Not to mention it also has a Burger King inside. So after all your groceries you can have a nice meal. Overall nice staff, clean environment! read more

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE John in the electronics department went above and beyond. I was there to buy a phone case. I chose the one I wanted but they only had blue. I didn't ask him to look, but this gentleman said, "wait a minute" and he took me to another part of the department and there were more choices of colors! I got the color I wanted!! 5 stars goes to Claudia in the toys department! Her Customer service is the best!!! But honestly she is just a really good person and has an amazing heart. I was in the baby formula section, I had asked a few people that I needed to get some formula from the locked shelf. 15-20 min went by and no one came over. Finally I asked one last time and Claudia from the toys section showed up, mind you, the toys are all the way across the store completely on the other side. She heard the call again and came all that way! What a great person. I had a good conversation with her, I told her I had twins and they only drink the sensitive formula. Why is it when the store did it's remodeling they have placed all of the heavy kitty litter boxes on the higher shelves which has rollers and while trying to lift the heavy box of litter up and out of the shelf the ones behind it push tight against making it totally impossible for somebody of my height to lift and retrieve the boxes of litter. Either a less convenient Walmart, or, I will cancel my Walmart membership and switch to Target. Last night was worse than usual. 20 minutes in line. When I got to the cashier, AFTER she finished checking items on the last guest - only my food was on the conveyor, there was 1 foot of empty space at the the start of the conveyor. I drove a lengthy way to go to this Walmart to pick up a gift that was only in stock here. I ordered online and came for my pick up time and they canceled my order. They canceled it during pick up when I was already there. I went inside and my item was in stock the lady at customer service was very understanding and I rebought the item there. My 5 star review goes to the Manager of the Tire Center, Kevin and the associate Sam. Having a line of customers in very busy hours and some rude customers, one of them been ( a employee of the store) , Kevin handle the situation with grace and very polite. I had to wait for my car for over two hours but the wait was worthy, after Sam worked in my car, I got new tires, rotation and my car feels great. Kevin my 5 stars goes to you and your associates at the Tire Center. I needed some cosmetic supplies that I was running low on and remembered that Walmart was open till 11 PM. Decided to take a trip there got there at 9:55 PM and headed straight to the cosmetic section where it was closed, which came to my surprised having a whole section that is, quite important closed over an hour before closing. Brought my mom over and we spoke to somebody who directed us to the team lead who was a black woman with red hair, we walked to the front to go speak to her to ask if she could open it up as we weren't the only people looking to get some thing from that section there were about four other customers as well looking around for someone to help them get products from that section. We politely asked her if we could grab a couple things really quickly she said no it was closed and I asked when it closed and she said 10 PM. I told her that we got there before 10 PM and she quickly said it was closed at 9:51 PM And again we politely asked if we could just quickly grab some thing and go as all we needed was a associate to open the lock and hand us the product, she again in a rude tone said "no once it's closed It's closed" and something. I recently came back from an internship in Bentonville, Arkansas, which is where Walmart headquarters is, and there is a stark difference between the customer service in Walmart retail stores from there to here the ones located here specifically this location, absolutely lacks and customer service. Also closing the section over an hour before the store closes is insane. This should at least be advertised online so I know not to waste a trip. Don't even bother here, go to Target where everything is open when they say it is and not behind a glass wall making you wait forever for an associate to open. read more

The ONLY reason I even go into this store is because I can get motor oil and filters for about 30% less than anywhere else. That is basically all I buy. Fortunately, I only need to visit it about twice a year. I have never had what I would consider a pleasant experience with ANY of the people who work there. I came to make a return. I've returned items and never had an issue, regardless of what it was. I came and David the "front end manager" looked at my item (brand new condition, never used) and refused to honor my return and tried to tell me to go to the Walmart I made the purchase from because "they couldn't verify it." I said to him calmly and nicely, what are they going to do there that is different than what you will do here? It's simple scanning the receipt and taking the item back. He refused to respond and kept saying he will not do the return. Fast forward 5 minutes, I think to myself let me talk to another manager. I go to my car, I tried calling to get ahold of someone else to help me and no one picks up the phone. Not in one department did someone answer. So I walk in and request one at electronics. After waiting 5 minutes, I was told a female manager was on her way. Then a young looking gentleman by the name of "Rob" comes up to me. His name tag literally said shift lead. Let me just start off with, this man was so rude and condescending. I really don't think he should be in customer service. I tell him the situation and he said, "Was it David?" Oh then I have to follow what David is saying." Then he asks, "did anyone verify your items serial number?" I said no. He made a face that made it seem like he was going to help me but then stopped. Then he started saying, "you need to go to the walmart you purchase the item from to return it" I then asked him as well, "what are they going to do differently there than here?" He said, "they're going to give you your money back" with a condescending smile. Then he kept disrespecting me and speaking to me with a tone. I said, "aren't all walmarts the same?" He said, "yes they are, you have a point there." I asked, "then how come you can't return it here?" He said, "you're asking me the same thing 20 different ways." I said, "because you aren't answering the question." He said you can take my name down and call corporate. I said I will do that then. As I'm walking away, he disrespectfully says, "have a good day ma'am" Fast forward - I called corporate and they apologized for such childish behavior. Fast forward a few days a very very nice manager calls me and also apologizes for their ruthless behavior. (I'll keep the manager anonymous for safety and so these employees don't get mad at this manager) The manager said, "if you had the receipt and it was within 30 days, I don't understand why David didn't do the return." I came in on a day that manager was working and they told the staff right there to honor my return. The manager checked the items and said the receipt is here and so is the item and to do the return. After this, that manager walked away. One thing I will point out is, the staff working the return area at that moment wanted to also verify my item and actually paged the department that my item was from to verify. This is something David did not do and was too lazy to do himself. After everything, my return was completed here as it should have been. However I will say I no longer shop here or feel comfortable shopping here after how David and especially Rob treated me. I have came to this Walmart since I was a kid but now I refused to and will just drive to a different store instead. read more

This Walmart hires the most incompetent, fucking rude ass staff I've ever encountered. Had issues in the auto dept with stupid/rude staff members before, so I won't use their auto services anymore. Last time I tried to get my car serviced for a simple flat tire, I and the man in front of me were both flat out turned away because they were "too busy" to help us. There were only two other cars in the lot waiting to be serviced...... But I digress. Today I bought an air purifier there, which I requested to get price matched with their website - it was $65 in store, but $51 online. So I went to self checkout and had the young man price match it for me, which he did - but he didn't take it off my bill at full price beforehand. So I got charged $65 AND $51 plus the warranty and tax. Altogether with my other few items, I was charged $155. Clearly wayyy too much, right? Well, when I went to the customer service desk to rectify the situation, a tatted up employee there named Rob totally fucked me over on purpose. He was extremely rude and condescending and came at me immediately with a hostile attitude, telling me that I was "really confused" and wasn't understanding it when he only gave me $23 back to "make up the difference." I was charged TWICE for ONE item at TWO DIFFERENT PRICES. It's not that hard to comprehend that my refund should've been $65 plus the tax. But instead, he gave me the money back for the warranty and $15 more on a gift card and told me, "Trust me, darling, I did it correctly and gave you the right amount." (Gross that he called me "darling" too.) He made me feel totally stupid on purpose to fuck me over by basically calling me crazy when I explained multiple times that my refund should've been the entire amount for the higher priced total. So I went home and did some calculations and figured out how much I was still owed (nearly $50...) and went to a different location to get my fucking money back. The girl at the Cerritos location actually had a brain and gave me my refund and told me to call 1-800-Walmart to report his ass because that is unacceptable (and she's right). She said that that store should be handling their own shit like this, but she was kind enough to help me out anyway. I will be calling tomorrow to report him. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, though - with the exception of the nice lady who helped me in Cerritos, most people who work at Walmart work there for a reason..... read more

At 4:40PM I arrived at this Walmart specifically to get an oil change for my car. When I get to the counter there is a very young man (boy) talking to his friend and does not acknowledge me. When I tell him I need an oil change, he turned around and stated, "it's not going to happen, no staffing." When I told him he needs to put up a sign to let customers know, he just said (sarcastically), "Yeah, we're working on it." Walmart advertises automobile service from 7am - 7pm.!!! This Walmart store has rude employees, no customer service, and posts misleading advertising regarding hours of operation. My husband purchased a little green vacuum at this Walmart Supercenter Long Beach on Sunday 9/10/23! As it was already late and I was getting ready for the next work day. I didn't open the box. I planned to use it on my day off over the following weekend. It was an unopened box. I decided to return it without opening it because, I was looking into buying a different one. My husband went to return it Friday 9/15/23. The Customer Service person opened the unopened box in front of my husband. The product in the box was not the same as the one in the box image and the product numbers did not match. It was a used vacuum. They began to accuse my husband of switching the original item for a different one and refused to return or exchange the product. He called me over, As I was in the car waiting for him. When I got there, they where giving him attitude. This was humiliating. They where saying they would look at the camera of when he bought it and, when the girl at customer service opened it. They made faces at us and stated that we taped the box. We waited quite some time before they came back and stated there was nothing they can do. They claim that they don't put returned items back on the shelfs. Which I believe is false. This is our first time purchasing a little green vacuum and it was a bad experience and now I'm stuck with a used vacuum that is missing parts and is not the original Item I intended to purchase. I'm well aware that there is people in the world who do these types of return's but, I can assure you. We are not one of them. We work hard for our well earned money. This Wal-Mart is open 24hrs, that's a plus, they always have a wide selection of things that are not available at the regular Wal-Mart's. The parking structure is big, the restroom is well maintained and the cashiers are pretty fast at checking people out. read more
