Terribly messy
Rob B.

Very dirty outside and inside. All the shopping carts are out in the parking lot. There were none inside, so you have to go back to the parking lot to grab one and bring in. Plenty of associates walking around doing nothing.... The store manager should take pride in their store and make sure the parking lot is clean and welcoming.

This Walmart is pretty much like the rest. The layout is grocery and food items in the left hand entrance of the store and the right entrance feeds you into home goods. Prices and offerings are pretty standard with some regional and local items thrown in. For example some locally made tortillas (which I bought but completely forgot to check the label for lard (I'm plant based) and got back to the hotel to find that fact :( bummer) and some interesting salsas etc. They do have some plant based frozen items however most of it is morningstar which unfortunately now uses some animal product variants in their vegetarian products. (like eggs, or cheese) The produce is reasonably priced and fresh. The checkout can be pretty terrible depending on when you are there. The self scan lines are pretty long, as are the manned lines. That can be a little annoying when you just have a few things and want to get out but are trapped behind huge grocery cart loads. All in all it's a Walmart, seems a bit busier and slower than others I've been to but it's clean.

We were in the area and needed some milk for the little one, so here we were. This location was convenient for us as we were headed to our hotel. The parking lot is large but was quite filled. The store was busy the day we visited but the aisles are spacious. Found the milk easily and picked up some strawberry wafers as well. They have self check out, so we were in and out in no time.

Yeah right

Grocery Pickup Over 2.5 hours between wait in car (having made contact with them multiple times), waiting at their staging location where multiple claims all they were waiting for was chiller items (3), me asking if i could help get something, going to pick my entire 8 item order myself, coming back to staging area for them to take the order out immediately and put my pick order in my cart. Ridiculous! I do not recommend this store to anyone!

Long lines and always understaffed. Also blocked walk ways with new stock. The checkout clerk was the only saving grace.

I actually try to avoid the registers because of how rude the last few people had the registers have been or at least extremely unfriendly.. Unfortunate today self checkout was long . Try to be friendly to the kid and see how his day was. He barely lifted up his head to look at me and didn't even acknowledge that I had spoken to him. Probably should have a different job in the back. Really about the only complaint I have at this location.

Lately I've been going in every month ordering a cake out of the bakery and I want to give a huge shout out to Miss Hannah who has not disappointed one cake thus far! This store is super clean and I will tell you that this store is worth the price point because everything is immaculate. The customer service in the lines are always great. The managers are always out in front ensuring that everything goes smooth and everything is always fresh! The bakery goods are so delicious. They have donuts rolls anything you name it, from the sushi chef that's there every day to put out fresh sushi, which I see him doing all the time! To their chicken Mondays that are on sale each Monday and there's a different price point, but it is a lot of chicken for a little amount of money! And on holidays, you will see them smoking ribs right out in front for sale and even giving some nice samples away as they grill! I love Elizabeth. She's an amazing manager every time she sees me. She comes up and gives me a hug! And they also do some winetasting on weekends here, some Saturdays, and Sundays! All in all always a good vibe, always a higher in clientele, and the parking lot is always put together perfectly, so shout out to the entire Team! And if it comes to any meat that you may need, they have everything from seafood to beef pork all in the back you name it they got it so if you're looking for a nice clean establishment to shop at this is it right here.

The trick to shopping at ANY Aldi is...realistic expectations. I can not do ALL of my shopping at…read moreAldi, but what I do get, is worth going out of the way for. I have never actually been to this Aldi before, I was just in the area. There isn't one near me, so I tend to stop by random ones if I am then going home. One thing I LOVE and constantly check their ads for...the organic grass fed ground beef. They don't always have it on sale, and a lot of times you have to buy a 4lb pack, but it is FANTASTIC. If you don't buy into the grass fed organics, that's fine, leave it for the rest of us. If you find it for $3.99...stock your freezer. Then make meatballs. Or burgers. Something that shows off the meat. I don't eat a lot of red meat at home but this is the only ground beef I buy. Today, I found it in single pound packages. I tend to freeze them in packs of 3/4 pounds, so I am not wasting food. Other than the beef, I love their cheeses. Score one for goat cheese under $2. Baguettes, vegetables, and their packs of microwavable rice which are perfect for meal prepping. Also at Christmas I got my sister a wine advent calendar here, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Go, Aldi. Bring a quarter for a buggy (which you'll get back), and your own reusable bags. I bring my tote, it says totes ma goat..and has a goat on it. Or, pay for grocery bags.

We've been shopping at this Beltline location, store #34 in Richardson location for over 6 years…read moreweekly and were always praising this store for friendliness and neatness, however, today the store was almost completely empty, yet the cashier rudely asked me to hold my box while the other lady in front of me was putting her things on the belt, even though I put the divider and there was no one behind me. Then she took out the cat food cans out of my box and recklessly threw those in a cart one by one, smashing other items. At this point there was only one lady behind me, so she did it intently. There was also no extra cart available close to her as is the usual case. My elderly mom was with me and started rushing trying to get out the cans back into the box while holding it in the air not to hold the line which made me ask the cashier that she created so much work for me instead of leaving things in the box as all the other cashiers usually do, to which she again rudely answered: it's your job to organize your items, and you don't understand! Afterwards she refused to give me her name and said: I am the manager. Well, the cashier's cheque did have her name on it. If she was the manager in a store that's usually very clean and friendly, and this time there was a big mess on the floor in the produce section, then maybe the store needs a different manager. Also, while checking us out, she was casually talking with another worker instead of asking him to either clean the mess or help bring an extra cart, etc. as she stated there were only 2 workers. I know the manager from before was an excellent cashier and manager and always respectful which reflected on the store quality.

I did notice they have a nice variety of bagged, flavored corn snack balls. I picked up the melon-flavored ones to try with my family, and we all thought they were good! They also have a food court, although the options are somewhat limited, similar to the grocery selection. That said, the food looked good, and I'd be interested in trying it next time. After exploring the store, I still prefer my go-to Asian supermarkets in the DFW area, like H Mart and 99 Ranch. However, I do appreciate that they offer items on sale. That's definitely a plus!
