I generally understand that retail environments are stressful, but the customer service at the Galesburg location consistently misses the mark. While I have encountered a few genuinely nice employees here, the vast majority I have interacted with seem visibly bothered or impatient that you are even approaching them. This is especially true at the customer service and returns desk. Instead of being helpful, the staff often comes across as rude, impatient, and overly interrogative about simple return requests. I frequent other Walmart locations and regularly experience helpful, kind service, so it is disappointing that the Galesburg store consistently struggles with basic hospitality. It often feels like you are a burden just for being in their space. I hope management can invest more time into customer service training, as the current atmosphere is incredibly unwelcoming. read more

Walmart . Do better ! The auto center is absolutely trash ! Just unprofessional, if I could've rated -10 stars I would've . What's the point in making appointments if they're not even close to being accurate , I've been sitting here for 1hr 45 minutes and my car is just now being serviced on , mind you I set the appointment 3 days prior and only 1 person in-front of me , I showed up the 15 minutes early and when you ask how long your vehicle will be , the eyrolls and huff and puffs start . I was with my baby and I was randomly stopped while I was leaving and i got told they had to do a full inspection of my cart. My grandmother funeral was that day and i was just getting food to make a platter. I was completely humiliated in front of the whole store and they couldn't even give me a reason for stopping me and once i had been cleared that i hadn't been stealing, they couldn't even give me a apology. Horrible staff, very rude. I tried to ask for help while searching for an an item that they had in stock, was ignored. Their deli says they close at. Their auto department is absolutely terrible and not a single person knows how to answer the phone in any department at all. Called 32 times and called corporate. Corporate said they would do something and nothing happened no call back. Dropped the car off at 1:40 still not done at 6. Asked the person behind the counter and she said she didn't hear the phone ring once. I would not go here again I'd recommend literally any other car place. read more

Galesburg's supercenter is convenient and friendly ( unlike some stores that I have encountered in my lifetime). The service center is accommodating. Oh, you get a few who are lacking in people skill, but such is life. For the most part, they are helpful. The store is always stocked and clean. read more
