First bad experience they didn't have enough of a medication to fill my whole order and gave me 10 pills with the assurance that I would get a call when the rest was available. Over a week later I called them and they told me that the script had been filled but then thrown out as it wasn't picked up. I reminded them that they said they would call me and the pharmacist told me they don't call customers. That exact moment another person working there was on a headset and said into it " hello Mr _______. This is Walgreens calling you to let you know your prescription is ready" Like...right in front of me while the other guy is saying they don't call people. Then...another script, i called numerous times and they said there was something about the insurance and they would look into it and call me back. 2 days later I again called THEM and they lied to me saying someone called and left a message saying the insurance required mail order and they can't/won't help me further. No calls and no messages no voicemails came to my phone from them so that wasn't true. So...I called my insurance. They said they don't require mail order and told me they would look into local preferred pharmacies they use and guess who they came up with first!? This very walgreens. When i told them that walgreens told me you told them they can't fill this script the agent said there is no way that is true as thier clients use that pharmacy often and there was nothing about mine that would make anyone tell them it had to be mail ordered. So they lied about calling and lied about why they wouldn't fill the script. So they lied numerous times to me, refuse to be helpful and have lost my business and anyone else I can tell about it. These are important mental health drugs that i need and have now gone 2 weeks without because of them givung me the runaround and lying. They shouldn't be allowed to be in business.

Unfortunately - the email goes to one individual. They don't have a dedicated email for customers that can be monitored by whoever is working that day - so I found it a bit of a challenge to communicate with varying staff members who were trying to assist while another staff member was on vacation - or off work that day. Won't bore readers with anymore detail, but despite their great prices - because of the communication issues - I'm currently seeking another pharmacy. Suggestions welcome. I may have gotten on the pharmacist's nerves with my persistence, but they were finally able to get a price for me and just like I figured - their price was 30% lower than than the four compounding pharmacies I checked with here in metro-Atlanta. ***************** Full disclosure - this is the FIRST time - I've ever written a review - where I didn't REALLY know how to review them. 1) Background / History - I was referred to this pharmacy - by another pharmacy I loved. See review for MP Pharmacy / Fusion Pharmacy. That pharmacy had the absolute BEST prices I've ever encountered. Not sure how my dermatologist found these folks, but Kudos! I had a 6 month love affair with their prices and customer service when BAM! All of a sudden they could no longer write Rx's for non-Floridians because they were acquired by a new company. :-( I was struggling to find another affordable compounding pharmacy and Bri recommended Custom Plus. 2) Value - they have the very good prices. I live in metro-Atlanta. So I'm comparing their prices to local compounding pharmacies. 3) Convenience - According to the staff - there is no online-refill or online-contact option. The website lists a 'Contact Us' option. Because I work midnight - 8am / midnight to 5am and sleep the 'first half' of the day but also work part-time from 1- 5pm - it can be difficult to call any business during 'normal' business hours. The website lists certain hours. The staff lists different hours. Honestly - I have no idea what their hours are. But I hope, at some point, they will offer a monitored, online option. Not even referring to weekends. I would just LOVE to be able to message them - since I'm asleep or working during their business hours. 4) Customer Service - I've never had anyone be rude with me. But I will say - if you are in your 40's or 50's - and you have teenagers or people under the age of 24 that you engage with a LOT - be prepared for this sort of interaction. Lol. I swear I feel like I'm 80 years old every time I speak to one of the support staff members. Lol. They don't seem to have customer files with Notes like other pharmacies - so I have to repeat myself quite a bit. Then they seem a little exasperated or annoyed when you give them the detail they requested. And the staff loves to ask you to hold while they get some info - then without giving you any sort of warning that you're about to be transferred - someone else will come on the line. A quick Google search will give you all the info you need on the lack of quality of these Mylan patches. Herbst is supposed to stand for quality but continues to give patients this garbage prescription. Update: when I contacted Herbst, I got an extremely unapologetic and snarky response. I was given a long list of instructions to apply these patches that includes a hair dryer. I was also told that I should switch back to CVS. I really wanted to support local but not Herbst.
