They usually have a smal but good quality vegetable selection. Count on Avacados, tomatoes, and cilantro being there at least. The lady that runs it will give you great hints on how to make AWESOME Mexican food. One night I was in there, and she came out with a type of Spanish Rice to try. I do not care for Mexican or Spanish Rice, but not wanting to be rude I go ahead and eat it. I had a mini food orgasm! It was delicious. I asked for the recipe and she gave it to me. I now make great Spanish Rice! The same lady makes all of her own bakery products. I do not know the name of the pineapple filled turnover she makes, but I imagine it is LOS ORGASMOS! (Plural because you will become multi-orgasmic) One the weekends they have La tienda fare (tamales, tacos, menudo, etc.) I have only had the Tamales and they were incredible! This is really a place you should try out!!!

I don't mind a person being "matter-of-fact" and professional, but when I'm spending my money in her store, a smile and a thank you would be nice. Oh, and if she's out smoking a cigarette when you pull up, stay in your car and let her finish. Or, you'll really get the treatment. If you see a tall thin older woman with short dyed hair, you might just want to go down the road.
