The only time I am able to go shopping is the ungodly hour of 6am. I shop at this time because the store doesn't have that many people waiting in line. I will not ever do my shopping there again. I go to the cashier to check out, no cashier. I have to use the do-it-yourself checkout. There is a woman standing there in case something does not go through. That happened numerous times. Each time she had to use her card to clear the problem, and again, it happens. I spent more time checking MYSELF out than I did in the store. All the time I am checking myself out, the woman is watching me like I was about to steal something. There was a man at the door watching me at the same time. I finally head out to the door and that same man asks me for my receipt. He stands there and checks every item I had in the shopping cart against what was on the receipt, I will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER step foot in that place ever again. I do not like be treated like a criminal when both people CLEARLY WATCHED EVERY MOVE I MADE. read more

The Walmart in Bastrop has rude workers. They seem to be busy talking yo co-workers and dont have time to help shoppers. If you ask something, expect and answer like "I dont know" rather than having them get an employee who knows the product line. read more

Worse Walmart EVER in the department of keeping shelves stocked. I do the bulk of my grocery shopping at Bastrop HEB but come to Walmart on average twice a month for Silk chocolate soymilk. It is hit and miss if it will be in stock. On Monday, Oct. 29, 2018 shelf empty. According to an employee the computer showed 6 cartons in stock. He checked, the stock room for the 6 cartons, could not find, they did not exist. Okay, so I return to the store today, Nov. 1, 2018 shelf still empty. I worked many years in retail it's not that hard to keep items stock if one does their job as they are suppose to. If HEB stocked the item I would NEVER go into Walmart in Bastrop, TX again! read more

On November 17th 2015 I order something at the photo center at the Walmart in Bastrop let's just say I had an AWEFUL experience. So like I said 11/17/2015 I placed an order for a picture pillowcase at the photo center I was told from the confirmation number that it would be ready on the 28th of November around 5pm. I show up on the 28th to much of my surprise my pillow case wasn't there. The photo clerk said come back tomorrow there's probably a delay because of the holiday. I come back the next day (no pillowcase) and talk to a different person and she said fed ex doesn't deliver on Sundays, so come back tomorrow. I come back Monday and the person was really rude and basically told me there was nothing he could do for me because the pillow case wasn't there and because it wasn't in their computer I would just have to order a new one. At this point I am extremely frustrated but I decide to give it a few days and come back this time I talked to a different person who actually tried to look for it and called someone and they told him the pillowcase was signed for and was in the store since the 23rd. I'm furious but also relieved that it's in the store so you would think I could pick it up that day not the case at all he told me the person who signed for it doesn't work the weekend so I would have to wait until Monday which makes even more upset so I talk to an assistant manger who basically said the same thing. So my pillowcase was in the store but no one could find it. They finally found my pillowcase. Going to pick it up today, I'm hoping for some sort of discount BUT I WILL NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THAT WALMART AGAIN!! read more

Worst store I've ever seen. Short staffed, dirty store,, rude employees. I go to great lengths to stay out of this store, I prefer to drive to La Grange Wal-Mart, they are friendly, clean and have what we need. read more
