A few minutes later the lead nurse tried to put us out for not wearing gown and gloves. Told her we were doing what her staff did. Early morning glucagon give to family member for blood sugar of 52. Nurse states it would be rechecked per protocol. 2 hours later I caught her sitting outside the room studying not monitoring the blood sugar. The nurse replied the aid is going to check it. I responded, it's your job to make sure it's done. Next the house supervisor came up with some weird rules, and threatened to ban us from the hospital.
