I declined to spend an hour accommodating them, and ended up taking the bag to The Medicine Shoppe in Leduc. They accepted the medications with no fuss while offering condolences, even though they were not from their store. I highly recommend The Medicine Shoppe over this Shoppers location in particular.

No Frills is just as its name suggests, no frills. This is a grocery store chain of the…read moreSuperstore/President's Choice variety, but on a much smaller scale and with much less selection than a Superstore or even an Extra Foods. They don't carry a lot of the President's Choice Brand items (although they do have the PC Decadent Cookies which are amazing), but they have a lot of No Name, and No Frills brand. Sometimes stock can get pretty picked over, especially if there's a sale or during the after office hours (3pm to 6pm-ish), but if get here during the week on a morning the stock is usually pretty decent. Sometimes the produce can be a little ifffy, but maybe it's just that time of year right now where produce is kinda crappy no matter where you go. Today I went to No Frills for their dollar days sale and I picked two boxes of Chapman's ice cream sandwiches (4 per box) for $1 each, and two 500ml containers of Chapman's ice cream for $1 each. Did I need the ice cream or ice cream sandwiches? Yes. Yes I did. You can't go wrong with ice cream at that price. Most of Leduc's grocery stores are on 50th Street north of 50 Avenue (Sobey's, Safeway), or are west in the very busy Leduc Common shopping area (Walmart, Bulk Barn), so it's nice to go to Extra Foods where the traffic is a little less busy. While it's not inside the store there is a small Liquor Store right next to the No Frill's.

Rexall Drug Store is located in Leduc's City Centre Mall. It is a drug store, but it's not as busy…read moreas going to Shoppers (the only other real drug store in Leduc) or Walmart. What I like about Rexall? The price is pretty decent. Shoppers is usually the most expensive place when it comes to drug store purchases in Leduc, and Walmart is usually the cheapest, but Walmart is always busy and Rexall is pretty quiet. The only time I find it's busy at Rexall is if the Farmer's Market is going on in the mall or if it's Senior Days. There is a Canada post office at this location. It's the only one, I believe in Leduc. Sometimes the post office isn't open, but for as often as I need to use the post office it works. There is a decent amount of stock here, not as much variety as Shoppers, but I can usually find what I'm looking for. There are a few things I buy, like my facewash, that Rexall doesn't carry. You can get Airmiles now with your purchase. I think it's 1 for $20 spent, which isn't great, but today I used a coupon and got 100 for spending $50. Red Deer here I come :D There's a pharmacy here, but I've never had to use it so I won't comment on that. What I don't like about this Rexall? The place always seems understaffed. I like to be left alone when I shop, but it's often hard to find a staff member if I have a question, or if I want to see if they have something in stock. If there's more than one person at the checkout counter there's usually a pretty long line. This is a time where I wish Yelp did half stars, because I'd probably opt for 3.5 stars out of 5. There isn't anything horrible about this Rexall, but just the smaller selection, and waiting to speak to the staff (or to pay for purchases) means it's not my top choice of drug stores to visit in Leduc. I do like that they have airmiles, and that it's usually not to busy. If I just need to pick up some toothpaste or something I'll come here. If I'm looking to browse around to buy makeup or perfume I'll head somewhere else.
