Have had a couple of probs with this Walgreens. Around Oct/Nov they had issues trying to fill my…read moremoms antibiotics. They didn't have it in stock. For about 2 months of trying to get the medication they finally told her they couldn't get it and she would have to go somewhere else. She ended up getting it from another pharmacy a couple of miles down the road. This caused a delay in treatment and she ended up in the hospital. Then 2 months later I go to pick up her med and they won't let me have it saying they need her secondary insurance. The actual physical card. They wouldn't accept a pic. I told then I live 1/2 hour away. The next day I go back with her secondary insurance card and they don't even scan it they just look at it and type in the information, then tell me they already have that one on file and they need her Medicaid card??!! I told this clerk that yesterday they said I needed her secondary now they say I need her other card??! And they still won't give me her med. when I request they just transfer it to Walmart they say I have to go to Walmart and have them call Walgreens and request the prescription! If they need updated info they should call (since I've already been getting meds filled there) and say next time we come in we need to brings ALL her cards to make sure they're updated!!!

They didn't have one med, but called around the other pharmacies and found it for me. They went the extra mile for me. Locally owned and operated.

They also impressed me with having a boutique-ish items inside the pharmacy, as well as a UPS drop off. Those are my pluses. My negatives are why they got 3 stars. Staff that I encountered in the inside pharmacy were not nice and put off that they had to deal with contacting my doctor and insurance company. I was even told to go to Walmart, instead of them filling my prescription. (Walmart didn't carry the prescription) When I returned to pick up the medicine, again, the pharmacy staff made me feel like I was a burden. This review is based on several trips to the store. Each time was the same and with the same staff.

The pharmacist on the phone was so kind and caring and tried her best to comfort me and assure me everything would be okay. They stayed open late just for me to get my medication I desperately needed! I couldn't believe the kindness. Amazing staff members who genuinely care about their customers. They refused to fill one of my prescriptions bc it is a controlled substance, even though they had…read morefilled it before at least a half dozen times!! The pharmacist (Artin) was very rude to me and treated me like I am a dopehead bc I needed my medication! The reason for not filling it was that my doctor is a Telehealth doctor and he acted like he's basically not a real doctor!! He said they have a policy that if the doctor is not within a one hour radius of the pharmacy that they do not fill prescriptions from doctors outside of that radius. I had four other prescriptions from the same doctor and they were willing to fill those four but not my medication to keep me from having seizures. I honestly felt like he was lying to me because of the fact that he was willing to fill the other prescriptions just not this one! Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service and I will NEVER use them again!!! I am also going to report this to whatever agency is over pharmacies in the state of Texas because this is complete discrimination! I highly advise not to use this pharmacy!
