Dear god, what a cluster!@#$@#!!! This place is a nightmare. I hate this store so I resist the urge to go there usually but I ordered something online that was shipped using the Site-to-Store so all I had to do was pick my item up. BIG MISTAKE. They are so unorganized. It's so typical of Walmart to launch a new initiative without actually planning anything out. The Site-to-Store was a mess. I felt terrible for the single employee who was working back there. All the shipments came in but no one unpacked and organized them so she basically had to go through every single big box looking for our items. It took me 30 minutes to finally get my two packages. This walmart gets 4 stars because the employees do try very hard to be helpful and friendly. When I was looking to buy a camera they had on sale, they were out of stock, the sales girl in electronics called another walmart to see if they had it and they did. The other walmart even put the camera on hold for me. They usually have what I'm looking for and at great prices. Definitely an almost one stop shopping trip. Now about the customers....I REFUSE to come here after Fridays until Monday morning......In case youre wondering, it's because I Swear that is when all the nasty, inconsiderate people come out. There have been a few occassions where I nearly fought parents, teenagers, or yelled at someone's brat because they nearly knocked my 3 year old son over or hit him with a cart and he is always standing right next to me, as I dont allow him to stray. Then they turn around and tell me or him to move or give a dirty look. Im generally a really calm and laid back person, but not when my son is involved. Also please look out for things placed haphazardly around...my son was smacked in the head with a falling shelf because a customer pulled something off the shelf and thought that standing on it would be okay. Lastly....I wouldnt eat anything from the little restaurant...I know some of the employees and they wont go near the place. read more

Not my favorite location. I know there is not another Walmart in the area, so I understand why it is busy...BUT, poor service, not enough lanes open for the hustle-n-bustle of this store, and not always the best conditions. They do have cheap prices for many things (hence the reason for going when we are in the neighborhood), though you have to know how much items typically cost to know if you are really getting a deal or not. On the positive side, there is a food area (scary!), vision center, and auto center for addressing multiple needs in one trip. read more

If I could give 0 stars to the auto center I would. I get called my tires are in, so I spend a good hour + getting my 3 kids ready and picking up the car that needs tires. Before I left I tried to call and there phone is broke. I call main store they say there open to 7pm and come in. I get there at 4:20pm and told they are not taking anymore customers...WTF nothing like wasting my time! read more

I am horrified to tell you so this but when me and my friend walked into this Walmart to look at fish (as you do) we we're horrified to find that a great sum of the fish were dead! It's apparent the Wal-Mart overlords down in Arkansas could give a rat's ass about the condition of this store. Based on the other reviews here, it's obvious this Wal-Mart has sucked since its inception, and shows no sign of change. Mind you, I've only made about a dozen trips to various Wal-Marts in my life, but this one stands out as the most crowded and messiest with the longest check out lines I've seen in a long time. We were there on a Saturday looking to buy a bike and it quickly became clear it would take a while to find an associate to help us out. I planned on going back during the week, but it sounds like any day is more of the same. Any future Wal-Mart runs will be made elsewhere. Regarding the unpaid, half-eaten food lying around and children running amok, I wasn't in there long enough to see the same, but I have no doubt both of these phenomena exist in spades at this location. read more

Walmart steals from you and puts inventory back on the shelves.Why are you letting customers leave without all of there bags ? You bag three bags you should hand them to your paying customers. Why the heck are you separating to packages of Johnsonville brats by placing them in their own bag? My other bag had 4 little pies that cost 50 cents there was plenty of space in that bag. My other bag had 3 big bottles of sparkling water . Where are my 2 packages of bratwurst? That's the second time you have stolen from me . Not to mention the gas money I wasted. Crowded lot and store but good place to shop

First off, I grew up in Michigan and Walmart Superstore is where we get everything. I haven't been to one here around Chicago. I walked in looking for a TV that said they had it online....they didn't plus having one person working the entire electronics section was ridiculous. I waited at least 30 min. before getting help and she wasn't any help. Out of all 15 TVs on display only 2 had prices and info. I did stay and shop around for other things and left with a cheap 8-pak of paper towel. The overall cleanliness of the store made me not really want to get anything. 2pm the store is packed, only 2 Checkers. Self Service and Checker lines are backed up beyond the end of the checkout area. Checker struggling with scanner, 5, 6, 7, scans on the same item. I started out 6th in line and after 15 minutes I was now 5th in line. I walked out. I don't tolerate this level of Service. Be careful, not everything is a good deal! Walmart in this location is okay. Walmart.com is where I have a problem. This was the WORST online purchase I've ever made. I will NEVER order from Walmart again. I ordered this lift chair early in Octobor. When I got it, I opened the package and it was defective and CUT in half for the remote. I called 3 TIMES to see how they could fix it. When I called the first two times, they said they would give me a refund within 3-5 days. The last call I made, said I HAD to send it back MYSELF. Costway IGNORED me 3 times I called. Then I found out, I wouldn't be getting MY MONEY back until 3 WEEKS. I got an email, sent 12 pictures to them when they asked for a picture of the defective item and that SAME email kept giving me the same questions and responses, like it was an automated system. Walmart is the WORST place to buy things. Will never buy anything from them EVER again. I promise that. read more

Excellent customer service. Had a bike shipped to this location and when I went to pick it up, the managers went out of their way to find someone to assemble it. All of the employees were so kind and courteous. The lady in the watch department was so helpful in assisting me with a new battery. This walmart has the worst customer service from an assitant manager i have ever seen. The first one came long enough to see there was a problem then pass it off to an underling and split. The second assitant manager basically said he didn't want to hear about his stores lack of customer service and if i didn't like it tough. he was nice enough to give me the walmart main number and his store number of 2816. I know this place does not care weather or not they recieve business based on the position of the management who runs the place. This Walmart really made me angry when I went there for an oil change. I got there before they open and was the 3 person in line on a Saturday morning. The mechanic outside the garagae told me to check-in at the register. The manager at the register asked me to wait. I waited for about 30-45 minutes and went back to the manager and he told me to check-in with the mechanic outside again. It would be like starting over. Finally, I got into my car and asked the other cars behind me to move so that I could get out of there and to NEVER RETURN!!! read more

Had the worst experience ever at this walmart... I bought an item that would have given me a 10 dlr gift card and the non English speaking cashier sold me a $10 gift card instead... wow, right!?!? when I was at customer service explaing the transaction the manager(yesenia) tried to say that I wasn't even charged for the skillets... how would the total have been 80 something for two pillows and a brush... common sense is what this store's employees don't have... After a trip to return a gift to this Walmart location, I can safely say I will never set foot in another Walmart again. The customer service line moves at a snail's pace at all locations, but this one takes the cake. The employees are rude and useless if you need help doing anything in this store, and on top of that, the store is dirty and cluttered. Did I mention highly disorganized? The clientele is less than desirable and I feel dirty upon leaving the store. I have never agreed with Walmart's policies but shopped there because it's cheaper than most stores. I have visited this Walmart for years. It has always been a very busy Walmart because for a long time it was the only one around. so yes it gets packed and busy, but everyone is helpful and friendly. The worst customer service I have ever experienced . I was trying to find some shorts and found out there was none in the back . When I asked someone else , they told me to ask the people working in the department which was no help . I asked one of the ladies just standing around and she said she couldn't move from that spot, when she was just standing around clearly doing nothing. I went to the Vision Center on a Sunday and it was pretty busy. But the customer service was great. I'm not sure what the lady's name is, but she was wonderful handling my order for new frames and lenses. I know she's worked there for awhile and if Wal-Mart is wise, they will do everything they can to keep her there. She was warm and friendly and handled my order efficiently. Returning yesterday to pick up my glasses I had the same experience. It was with a different person this time. A gentleman who was very friendly and nice. I know it sounds crazy, but out of all the years of wearing glasses/contacts and having the dreaded task of shopping for new frames, this has been one of the most pleasant experiences. This review is being graded on a curve. I'm comparing them to Best Buy and Target, which has been nothing but problems for me. Walmart is far from perfect. But at least if you have to return an item or have an issue, they will try to work with you, most of the time anyway. There were times I had unresolved problems for a while with Walmart. However, if you're persistent enough and your complaint or issue is reasonable they will comply. With their competitors, forget it! I couldn't agree more with Jade T. Dr. Ford is that good and the prices are that reasonable. Dr. Ford set up me up with at least 6 pairs of free, sample lense pairs, all of different prescription until I got to a pair that worked perfectly. This was after I blew 200 dollars on a half dozen pairs that were the wrong prescription with a different doctor in a different city. My transactions were spring of 2006. read more

I have to agree with Mindy. I hate this walmart and dread going to it. It is so crowded. I think they don't allow people with manners into this store because everyone is pushing and trying to run you over with their carts. Don't even try to bend over to pick something up because you will get knocked over. It reminds me of the stores on the day after Thanksgiving except it's like that everyday. Doesn't matter if it's a Wednesday afternoon or a Sunday. You drive around looking for parking for twenty minutes, spend forever looking for what you need only to find out that it's supposed to be on the empty shelf. Good luck finding someone to help you. Then you have to get in line, which is an ordeal within itself. And please, please, please, make sure you get the right item and it's not damaged because if you need to return it, be prepared to spend 4 hours in line for Customer Service. Sales associates in the Electronics Dept are liars! They told me they don't have the item but after waiting for a few minutes and me hiding behind a rack, I heard one of them saying they have the item. Three (2 sale associate and 1 manager) were by the storage cabinet and checking the item. Walmart website clearly stated that it was on clearance and only available in the store. I bought 4 new tires on their website. After reading the bad reviews, I was dreading going to Walmart to install them. I was checked in by Brittany who was super friendly and does her job. I did wait for about 2 hours, but so what? They don't take appointments, only walk-ins. There's a waiting room or you can go to the many stores within walking distance. This is, without a doubt, the absolute WORST Wal-Mart I've ever been to. I usually manage to avoid this place whenever possible, but sometimes make the mistake of returning, and I end up regretting it every time I do. This weekend was the last straw. I went in for an oil change and a tire rotation, and had asked the attendant who checked me in if they were able to run a code scan on my car's computer, because the check engine light was on. She said no, so I asked for an oil change, tire rotation, and fuel system cleaning. 2 hours later, when I went to check on the status of the car (I had just wandered around the store aimlessly this entire time), I was told that they had declined the fuel system treatment on my car because the check engine light was on. Then they tell me that they didn't do the tires because one of the bolts was stripped (their fault) when they went to take the first tire off. The icing on the cake was the defiant attitude of the woman who had checked me in. She adamantly refused to acknowledge the fact that I had told her about the check engine light, and didn't offer so much as an apology for stripping the lug nut on the tire. Not to mention the fact that she had no answer for why she never called me after 2 hours went by to tell me ANY of this. As for the rest of the store, yes, it's dirty, things are out of stock, and generally no one is available to help you with anything. If you do make the mistake of buying something here, expect to wait at least 10 minutes (if you're lucky) just to be able to check out, and don't expect even the slightest bit of courtesy from any of the cashiers. More than half of the registers are NEVER open, no matter the time or the amount of people in line. read more

Amazing what a couple miles could make. In the same town just a couple weeks ago I went to the Walmart on Golf and had a Horrible experience. I went to this one the other day in a similar situation (had to buy 5 carts worth of items because of lost supply shipments) and had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and helpful even though they were MUCH busier than the other walmart. One even stopped what she was doing to take me to the correct department. They put my carts in the back of customer service and retrieved them for me when I was ready to check out. The only reason why they are not getting a 5 star is because of the cashier. I don't know what Walmart does to their cashiers but they are never ever friendly. She seemed annoyed that she had to ring me and my 5 carts out. So sorry for bringing money to your store. After boycotting Walmart for over ten years, the holiday wishes of my niece and an inability to find her dream gift anywhere else, led me here. I tried to keep our new relationship online, but Wally got back at me with the item being out of stock online but available with ship to store...what?!? Isn't that the same thing? How do they have the inventory to ship to the store but not directly to me. Moving on...I got there and it was miserable from start to finish. The parking lot was so full that I had to drive around multiple times to find a spot anywhere. Once inside, it was crowded, unorganized, dimly lit and dirty. It took 35 minutes to get through the line to pick up my package. When I got out to my car, it took another 10 minutes to be able to pull out of my parking spot because the lot was too congested with other cars looking for spots. I understand wanting to get the best deal. Even if you can overlook the human rights violations of their corporate work culture, spare yourself the same violation and shop elsewhere. read more
