This Walmart is located on the inside of the Periferico Loop on Av. Andrés García Lavín in a shopping plaza called City Center on the north side of Merida. It is one of the anchor stores and flanked by many other shops and restaurants. The Walmart has all the usual home goods, clothes, groceries, bakery, and other departments, though the automotive and garden departments are limited. Products feature Mexican brands, but a few American brands are available. Prices are competitive with most other stores in the area. I went looking for a few groceries to use at my Air BnB and found everything I needed. The check-out is slow. Be prepared to take grocery bags with you or purchase reusable bags at checkout.
