This store is the closest location to where I live, which is about a half mile away. I've come here…read moremore than a dozen times, and I would rate this store somewhat lower than your average location in the United States. The interior of the store appears to be working out and in serious need of a remodel. The floor tiles are a mismatch of various fixes and patches that they have done over the past twenty years. Not only that, there are products and trash strewn about the aisles, This store carries most of the grocery products that I need, but often times they are out-of-stock for certain brands like Maruchen. Moreover, their produce is priced significantly higher than what you would find at a local market. That being said, this store doesn't always have the lower prices on products.

Taking over the old Aurrera that it was here, which i never visited, As always reason we all go to…read morewalmart its... to save money, unfortunately they are doing what they do best, knocking off the competition first then knocking their prices up afterwards, although they dont have to do much of that around here, it really is the only option around, there is a soriana at the buenavista plaza, but its like 15% more expensive by all means and the nearest comercial mexicana its several miles away. As far as the location is .. compared to other ones, you can feel the hostility with the security, as soon as you walk in, you are profiled by some overdressed rent-a-cop guys and one day i happened to be not on my greatest outfit and knew they were just walking around with me all around the walmart, haha jokes on them, but anyways besides that, i like the place because it has wide aisles and place its not as crowed as many other walmarts we see around. Either way, place has its own parking so its always a plus, same thing not as big as you could wish for, cashiers are the 1 in 2 design so, bring your own bags its a must because there is never big size plastic bags at this place and dont seem to encourage to use the green ones... for some reason i think this place should've left to be as an aurrera, but well it is what it is. The worst thing besides the hostile and dirty environment (at times)... its that they close at 11pm... its like... idont know it still too early thou... it feels like it could be open late. too

This is pretty nice and snazzy mall with a bit of upscale shopping, should the mood strike you…read more Like a bunch of designer apparel brands (although pricing is on par with pricing in the United States, so don't expect any bargains), beauty products, and also a vast selection of upscale electronics. As the other review stated, this definitely felt a bit like a Macy's. There were also more reasonably priced mid-range clothing brands and accessories and a pretty amazing children's section, if I do say so myself! We also utilized this business a clean and convenient restroom stop, ha ha, although I managed to semi-get lost despite it being a manageable and navigable building - it's a talent of mine. Being that our Airbnb was located right by this mall, we hit it up on our last day in Mexico City to load on on souvenirs - mainly beautifully packaged candies and chocolates to bring back home to our loved ones. I sort of wished I had strategically planned better and brought along a larger piece of luggage so I could have smuggled home more of the beautiful chocolate figurines and other edibles goodies, but alas, past Ellen only thinks about herself and streamlining the packing and traveling process. Definitely worth a quick visit should you be in the area, but I wouldn't say that this warrants a specific targeted visit.
