I had a very bad experience with this service. The service was extremely overpriced and I believe that they price gouged me. Further, two Russian guys were sent that spoke zero English. They took a very long time and didn't answer any of my requests, insisting those all went through texting "Alex" I assume who never looked at my home or addressed the specific requests I asked for. Finally, the breakfast nook wallpaper began peeling very soon after the job was done. I sent all photos to Alex but he continually told me he didn't have time to come out and he would get back to me, and never did. He continually argued with me and put the issue back on me. I would not recommend this service.
When a crew came out to do a wallpaper job in a restaraunt space. They were at the place when they promised to be and got down to business immediately with the walls. The graphic wall was awesome and gives the place the genuine BBQ feel their was no mess left behind
At that, hired Alex to install wallpaper in our apartment and the experience was very smooth. Communication was effective, timing was not a problem, and work done thoroughly and punctually. The walls are clean, pattern aligned and there is no mess that was left behind. The economy was good in respect to the quality charged. All in all a trustworthy and work professional service, would be willing to use in future projects.
This company, Viktoriia in particular was AMAZING. Her attention to detail. Her speed and the results were so good on the first project we hired this company for that we immediately hired them again for a second job. Pricing was reasonable. V was professional. On time and the work could not be more perfect. We had a painted mural and she cut and hung the paper with zero seams visible. The wall prep is something you should definitely spring for as an add on. I can't say enough about this company. Alex's responsiveness was great. His worker will be the only one we hire in the future for any similar work. I recommend these guys with zero reservation. 10 out of ten.
the crew appeared to work on the dining room walls the flowery ish-ish vibe has some validity and looks good with the blue paint the crew made no mess leaving the room and that was fine they were doing the top part of the wall and then they were gone the whole job was finished and they were off
I recently had a guest bathroom wallpaper and I am thrilled. The walls needed to be sanded and prepped which Evgenii did for me and then the wallpaper went up. It was supposed to be a two day project but it was done in one. Attention to detail is impeccable. He really knows what he's doing. Couldn't be happier.
I wish this was like school grading because I want to give a B+. Why not an A? This company was more expensive than the others but I liked Alex's quick communication. I moved into my home almost 7 years ago and attaching a photo of the paper then. I loved it but very poor install with glaring seams. The glue never held and every 2 years I had to hire wallpaper repair to glue some seams. I found Alex and took a chance. Sergey did the install and while a difficult time understanding me, he was very sweet. He matched the paper beautifully but I still see seams. This is what my Emmy Award winning designer had to say about it. I wasn't able to reach her before payment as she was out of the Country. This message came in this morning: "The seams are unfortunate. Hopefully you can live with them." I will have to because I already paid. I am posting this as a learning curve for the company that they need to strive for more seamless work. But overall, I love this elegant paper and the seams are far less glaring than the prior paper, which I also loved. I guess wallpaper installation is simply an Art in itself and takes much experience to do it with excellence.
I am a DIY hobbyist, but I knew I had to hire a pro for wallpaper. Alex was perfect from start to finish - arrived on time, got right down to business, and was finished within a few hours. This project was challenging for a number of reasons: the area I wanted to paper had multiple corners and had to wrap around a door and an arch. The pattern had to be matched horizontally, not vertically, and it must have been a nightmare to match everything up, but he did it perfectly. And finally, this wallpaper was really expensive - $100+ per roll. If I did it myself I probably would have wasted 50% of the paper, but Alex had hardly any remainders left by the time he was finished. Also, his pricing was soooo reasonable. Worth every penny. I highly recommend this business!
Alex and his team have done several walls in our house and every time the outcome has been exceptional. Alex is super communicative and transparent with pricing and his teams are very fast and they have a lot of attention to detail, which is obviously important when doing very patterned wallpaper, which is what we have. Everything came out looking fantastic. Couldn't recommend them enough.
I do not recommend using Alex Wallpaper. I received a quote to install wallpaper over my wood paneling. They requested pictures and gave me a quote that included filling in the grooves and priming the wall before installation. Workers arrived and did work. They filled in grooves but I did not see them prime. When asked, they said yes, the clear coat was primer. The job looked good when done. But the next day you could see there were a few areas that the grooves from the wood paneling were not filled in properly and you can see the lines through the wallpaper. I sent them several pictures and asked them to repair issues. After going back and forth several times, he insisted it was a 15 min repair and they would accommodate me in between jobs. They came back, spent 15 min and left without discussing things with me. The issues were never resolved and they refuse to fix the issues. I spent almost $3000 on high quality wallpaper and thought I hired professionals. They are not professionals. Poor installation and poor customer service.

Alex was very efficient and did an amazing job. He was communicative throughout the entire process and was very helpful confirming the qty of wallpaper order prior to starting the job. We will definitely hire him again and have already recommended him to friends. read more

My project was relatively complicated and no other business on Yelp would touch it. Wallpapering by Alex took the job, showed up on time (early, actually) and completed the job in one day. It looks amazing. So, if you're looking for professionals who 1. Want to work 2. have a can-do spirit and 3. Do an excellent job and 4. Make it look effortless then these are your guys. One last thought. I heard so many "No's" when hiring for this job that I thought maybe I was wrong and it couldn't be done. Turns out it could be done -- and with a smile. read more

I had a very bad experience using Alex and would not recommend using him. I'm an interior designer and hired Alex months out to hang paper in four rooms of a home I was remodeling. Alex acted like he would be hanging the wallpaper himself but instead sent another hanger (He said his name was also Alex) who did very poor work. There was rippling where the wallpaper was not smoothed, leaked glue on the wallpaper, bubbles and whole pieces hung at odd angles. Alex refused to fix the problems and has since ghosted me and won't return my texts. I had to have another wallpaper hanger come in to remove the badly-hung paper, repair walls and rehang new paper. The new pro said it was hard to believe a professional could hang wallpaper so sloppily. So, I was out thousands of dollars to fix his sloppy work. Avoid at all costs! read more

Alex showed up right on Time and ready to work. The results were amazing! We loved how he matched up the wallpaper panels correctly and the paper had no bumps or air bubbles. I was nervous if the edges would be less than perfect against the corners and it was perfect! His pricing was on point too! I would definitely call Him back for more of my rooms in my house if I ever needed again. We all walk in and admire the job he did. Makes us happy! read more

Alex showed up on time and stayed true to the price quote. Unfortunately, he did a poor job. My contractor looked at it and assumed I put up the wallpaper myself as a DIY project. When I told him I paid a "professional" to do it, he simply said "This work was not done by a professional. You should ask for your money back. I pointed out the unacceptable seems and the glue he sloppy got on my navy wallpaper and Alex shrugged his shoulders and said there was nothing he could do about it. I reached out again after Alex left and he won't respond. As a result, I had to buy more wallpaper and pay for a legit pro to fix the shoddy work. I wouldn't recommend him. read more

Alex was very responsive right away and clear about the price, plus additional steps that might be recommended. When our installer arrived, we did end up going with the additional skim coat, which added snd extra day to our project. Great Service! Our new grass cloth wallpaper makes our master bedroom now look like a model home. Just what I was hoping. Alex made this project easy. He communicated with us promptly and courteously. He was very flexible about working around our renovation schedule and we were able to have them come out as soon as we were ready. My hubby and I are small job DIYers but this tricky grass cloth installation was daunting and knew we could easily mess it up. Time for a pro. It amazed me how quickly they finished and it is perfection. Will hire them again for our next project. 10/10. read more

Hands down THE best wallpaper business I've dealt with. They responded to all of my messages in a timely manner and are very professional. They were upfront and honest with time and cost. I appreciated that they were on time and showed up ready to work. When I received my wallpaper (I ordered custom made) it arrived with tears in the paper. I was so bummed and thought I would have to return it and wait another 3 weeks for it to be replaced. I messaged Andrew right away and showed him the tears. He said, it could be fixed. Not only did he do an AMAZING job...you can't even see the tears!! They also cleaned up any mess, to where you wouldn't even know that they were there (you would be surprised at how many companies don't do this!!) I get compliments not just on the wallpaper but, the FINE work that went into putting it up. It's an art...I swear!! Do not hesitate to hire Andrew!! I honestly can't say enough good things about this company. I will definitely use them again and again!! read more
