I had a very bad experience with this service. The service was extremely overpriced and I believe that they price gouged me. Further, two Russian guys were sent that spoke zero English. They took a very long time and didn't answer any of my requests, insisting those all went through texting "Alex" I assume who never looked at my home or addressed the specific requests I asked for. Finally, the breakfast nook wallpaper began peeling very soon after the job was done. I sent all photos to Alex but he continually told me he didn't have time to come out and he would get back to me, and never did. He continually argued with me and put the issue back on me. I wish this was like school grading because I want to give a B+. Why not an A? This company was more expensive than the others but I liked Alex's quick communication. I moved into my home almost 7 years ago and attaching a photo of the paper then. I loved it but very poor install with glaring seams. The glue never held and every 2 years I had to hire wallpaper repair to glue some seams. I found Alex and took a chance. Sergey did the install and while a difficult time understanding me, he was very sweet. He matched the paper beautifully but I still see seams. This is what my Emmy Award winning designer had to say about it. I wasn't able to reach her before payment as she was out of the Country. This message came in this morning: "The seams are unfortunate. Hopefully you can live with them." I will have to because I already paid. I am posting this as a learning curve for the company that they need to strive for more seamless work. But overall, I love this elegant paper and the seams are far less glaring than the prior paper, which I also loved. I am a DIY hobbyist, but I knew I had to hire a pro for wallpaper. Alex was perfect from start to finish - arrived on time, got right down to business, and was finished within a few hours. This project was challenging for a number of reasons: the area I wanted to paper had multiple corners and had to wrap around a door and an arch. The pattern had to be matched horizontally, not vertically, and it must have been a nightmare to match everything up, but he did it perfectly. And finally, this wallpaper was really expensive - $100+ per roll. If I did it myself I probably would have wasted 50% of the paper, but Alex had hardly any remainders left by the time he was finished. Also, his pricing was soooo reasonable. Worth every penny. I do not recommend using Alex Wallpaper. I received a quote to install wallpaper over my wood paneling. They requested pictures and gave me a quote that included filling in the grooves and priming the wall before installation. Workers arrived and did work. They filled in grooves but I did not see them prime. When asked, they said yes, the clear coat was primer. The job looked good when done. But the next day you could see there were a few areas that the grooves from the wood paneling were not filled in properly and you can see the lines through the wallpaper. I sent them several pictures and asked them to repair issues. After going back and forth several times, he insisted it was a 15 min repair and they would accommodate me in between jobs. They came back, spent 15 min and left without discussing things with me. The issues were never resolved and they refuse to fix the issues. I spent almost $3000 on high quality wallpaper and thought I hired professionals. They are not professionals. Poor installation and poor customer service. read more

I couldn't be more disappointed. Sloppy, uneven, dirty, expensive and poor communication. Glue on the ceiling, sink, toilet, and water everywhere. Didn't clean trash. Torn wallpaper, unglued edges, glue on the front. They gave me 10% off, but I still regret the whole thing. It looks terrible. Apparently it was a 2 man job and they continued with 1 guy for 2 more days even knowing that it wasn't going well. I had a very bad experience using Alex and would not recommend using him. I'm an interior designer and hired Alex months out to hang paper in four rooms of a home I was remodeling. Alex acted like he would be hanging the wallpaper himself but instead sent another hanger (He said his name was also Alex) who did very poor work. There was rippling where the wallpaper was not smoothed, leaked glue on the wallpaper, bubbles and whole pieces hung at odd angles. Alex refused to fix the problems and has since ghosted me and won't return my texts. I had to have another wallpaper hanger come in to remove the badly-hung paper, repair walls and rehang new paper. The new pro said it was hard to believe a professional could hang wallpaper so sloppily. So, I was out thousands of dollars to fix his sloppy work. Avoid at all costs! read more
