While you can easily walk to here from a walkway connected to the airport you're going to have to leave the secure area and go through security to come back. The Squaire is an interesting amalgam of a train station, glass dome, office building, hotels, retail shops, and restaurants. The food selection is quite varied ranging from a Burger King to some nice looking restaurants. I didn't have a lot of time to explore because I spent most of the layover sleeping at the attached Hilton Garden Inn (which lets you reserve a room for just the day). Still it was nice being able to grab a quick bite before heading back for the next flight.

Statt einer sachlichen Erklärung wurde ich unhöflich behandelt und sogar als unhöflich bezeichnet, nur weil ich mit Münzen bezahlen wollte. Besonders enttäuschend war das Verhalten der Vorgesetzten, die die Weigerung unterstützte und sich nicht einmal für das unangemessene Verhalten ihrer Kollegen entschuldigte. Es scheint, als wäre den Mitarbeitern nicht bewusst, dass Bargeld in Deutschland gesetzliches Zahlungsmittel ist und gemäß Münzgesetz akzeptiert werden muss. Ein solches Verhalten ist für mich inakzeptabel und lässt mich ernsthaft an der Kundenfreundlichkeit und Professionalität dieser Filiale zweifeln. Sehr enttäuschend!
