Some really interesting photographs throughout the restaurant that offer some insights into the island's history, the owners friends, and even her cats! We started with some wonderful empanadas and an octopus dish that was probably one of the best cooked I've had in memory. Great seafood options and daily fish specials. Like most of Central Cozumel, street parking can be a little tricky but not a showstopper. You may be interested in looking for a yard that offers car parking to get off the streets. The complimentary bread was too tough and lacked enough air in the crumb. The fettuccine in the carbonara was fresh, soft, and chewy as I prefer. The sauce was well balanced and quite savory. I was put off ever so slightly by what tasted like canned fish in the sauce. But the fish and mollusks in the dish were all very well executed. And the quality of the pasta earns this meal 5 stars. The lobster was just ok. I'd advise just trying the pasta. The execution on the seafood was only good. Not great.
