Here's a polished review you could post:…read more Mike is a great, honest transmission expert and an all-around good person. He is friendly, professional, and takes the time to explain things clearly. His reputation speaks for itself when it comes to knowledge, honesty, and mechanical ability. While the shop is well known for transmission work, they also do excellent work on all types of mechanical repairs. It's hard to find a shop you can truly trust, but Mike and his team have earned that trust through quality work and fair treatment of their customers. I highly recommend Mike's Transmission to anyone looking for honest advice, expert repairs, and outstanding customer service.

They changed a transmission without approval from warranty and now warranty won't cover it because it was not inspected prior to change. Spoke to PJ and stated he has been doing this for 15+ years. I asked in his experience how many times did an inspection not needed to be done. He was speechless and could not answer. He knows procedures but failed to follow them. Now he wants over 11K for a transmission. Do not bring your vehicle here! They overcharge and will try to get over on you. DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM. The guy who worked on my truck wouldn't even look at me. So the shop never said anything about what they screwed up hoping I wouldn't notice. I have to replace my exhaust, dipstick, and drain plug. Transmission reliability is a mystery.

After they Claimed everything was running great, i called them about the catalytic Converter, then only did they claimed that there was a problem with it, not before i notice that there was. The owner said he didn't touch my Catalytic Converter, so exactly how would he know exactly what was wrong with it? Update: when i talked to them they claimed to have not touched my Engine, I rebuilt the engine before i took it into them for the clutch and as I look though the engine I am noticing things out of place like the spark plugs and wire management that i left alone on purpose hooked back up, and when removing my catalytic converter that i have removed twice and installed, was put in different then how i had it before taking it in, wire management, the O2 Sensor, and I left the radiator hose for the turbo that was held in place to the catalytic converter unscrew that is not screwed in. once i asked the owner if he did anything to my engine he went VERY defensive and asked if i was claiming he was stealing from me, I was just going to ask if the did anything with my engine so i can figure out what happen and why my catalytic converter was having problems. I had one error code when i brought the car into them, now i have 6, and alot of unanswered questions and an aggressive shop owner.
