I have one medication that they never have in stock and that takes several days for them to acquire. The most recent refill of this medication was as normal...out of stock. Of course, the other prescriptions are available and they keep hounding me with text messages to come pick them up. I live in a rural area and a trip to Walgrinch is a 50 mile round trip for me. I'm not driving that far only to have to repeat the trip again in 3-4 days. What really hit me this time was a "slight" (much sarcasm intended) price increase. From less than $15.00....up to over $140.00. My wife and I can't afford this, it is highway robbery!!! I checked other pharmacies and they were nowhere near this expensive. Also of note is that it seems like you're at the scene of a fatal automobile wreck or something. Nobody greets you. Nobody smiles. I worked in retail for several decades and Walgreens apparently doesn't care too much about their customers...you're definitely just a prescription number to them. There's been rumors over the last few years that Walgreens was going out of business. They've shut down several stores during that time. With their current customer service I'm beginning to think the rumors may well come true. I gave it a 1-star rating because my review would not post unless it had at least one start. Save yourself the hassle of having to transfer your prescriptions elsewhere and start out with a good pharmacy, not Walgrinch. Best wishes.

We live in Georgia, and my insurance company referred me to Pharmacare to receive medication I…read morecouldn't receive locally. The staff at Pharmacare called me within 48 hours of my referral, and I had my prescription in hand 2 days later. (Refills have been received at my home within 2 days of call-in.) The staff is always extremely helpful and friendly when I speak with them, and if they are unable to answer a question, I have always received a call with the answer within an hour. I can't review price for any drugs not covered by insurance, but I can say that the shipping cost to have the medication delivered to me is reasonable. Obviously, for most of my needs, I'll continue to deal with my local pharmacy (where I have zero co-pay through my insurance), but I'm thankful that Pharmacare is able to provide me with wonderful service and value for a medication my local pharmacy cannot provide.

I found out my prescription was high because they "said" they did NOT put in my insurance. Later, I asked if they could redo it for the $80 i overpaid. Was told they couldn't do that since I had purchased it. Since prescriptions are sent electronically they will not bother to tell you they are out. They will fill what they have in stock. This could be dangerous to some people thinking they have everything only to find out later CVS didn't bother to call or notify you they did not complete it. Spare yourself some time, trouble, and added unnecessary expense go somewhere else!
